Last night, it was "Llama Llama I Love You." LO was having a tough and tired night. Quick board books like Llama Llama calm him down.

He has a nursery rhyme book that he loves. We read Hickory Dickory Dock (Hickey Dickey Dock according to LO), and Humpty Dumpty.

Last night we read the little golden Bambi book and a long ass Sleeping Beauty book.

Moo, Baa, La La La... it's his favorite book. I have it memorized. It makes him smile huge and he laughs hysterically.

Toot and Puddle - You Are My Sunshine. She's obsessed with the illustration of Puddle in house during the storm.

We read 4 books (they are super short!) from Bob Books Sight Words. Her favorite is "She Did It!"

chopsticks, the book with no pictures, pinkalicious, bark george, and room on the broom.

We read 3 Julia Donaldson books as they are her favourites; A Squash and A Squeeze, Room on the Broom and Tyrannosaurus Drip.

A Mother for Choco. Everyone gifted us wonderful adoption books and that's one of my faves.

@cascademom: That's what we read before nap today! It's so cute and short enough to keep their attention!

@twodoghouse: I love the Llama Llama board books. When LO is having a tough night, the short books are good for repetition to calm. I read our favorite Elmo books too about balls, food, babies, etc. Even though he's older for them, they help in those calming moments.

Last night, "If you give a moose a muffin" was the book we finished with. She's obsessed with this series. We also read 2 big sister books (she loves them) and Llama Llama time to share.
