LO 1 loves individually wrapped prunes so I offered one as a bribe to finish her veggies. It worked.

I told her if she sat in her seat and finished her taco, she could have a special treat for dessert. She got it.

@autumnlove: Yes! Oh, well there might have been a SECOND bribe of ketchup... it was a rough night. Haha

She gets a cookie every day if she leaves her pony tail/pig tails in at school. They are just the little butter cookie kind. but she loves them. Esp cause they have a hole in the middle so we put them on her finger and she eats it that way.
Bribes for eating dinner and veggies don't work.

The last bribe was probably me telling Xander if he finished his carrots, he could have a couple more of my fries. The kid loves carbs, so it worked.

I told DD (4yo) that if she was good at the dentist and let them actually do a full exam she would get a treat. She was awesome and got new hair barrettes.

Bribes don't work for E yet. She's either too young or too stubborn!
@swurlygurl: My kid is ALLLL about the "dip-dip" (ketchup) right now. She demands the "dip-dip" but then fails to actually dip anything except her hand ramming fist fulls of ketchup into her mouth! Two minutes later, she's yelling "dip-dip!" again. Sigh.

@autumnlove: Nice! Keeps her regular
I have her enrolled in gymnastics now, so I hang that over her head to keep her in line.

High fives for getting ready in the morning coupled with stickers for his routine chart. The high fives have given him more incentive and focus instead of turning getting ready into playtime.

@BabyBoecksMom: She calls them candy....works for me!

umm well I told her she could have a snack in the car but it wasn't really a bribe. I told her she could have a special surprise if she tried to pee on the potty yesterday! she tried, but didn't go. she still got a sticker book haha.

I guess I'm glad my LO can't really talk (I mean, she has about 30-40 words but that's all) and so doesn't understand bribes.
I'm not looking forward to this stage!

DD gets two chocolate chips for swallowing her whole spoonful of antibiotic. I'm amazed she can be bribed for that little!

I'll give you a (mini) muffin if you sit down in your carseat (and let me strap you in)!

If she got up and got dressed without a meltdown we would stop and get donuts this morning...whoops. It worked and we did
