If you were due for AF and she was late, how long would you wait until you called the dr to go for a blood test if HPT continuously = BFN?

I called the doctor for a blood test after AF was two full weeks late. It seems like ages to wait, but I wanted to make sure I hadn't just O'd late that cycle.

I've never been in that situation but I'm thinking I'd wait 2 weeks as well.
Hope it's a good thing

Every time I debated calling, I'd say "one more week" and AF always arrived. What are you doing, if anything, to confirm O?

@LindsayInNY: This month just temping, and my sleeping has been erratic so who knows if FF is showing the right date or not. I'm just going to wait it out and hope for the best.

@babycanuck: You've been regular all previous cycles otherwise? Any symptoms outside the norm?

@LindsayInNY: Yes - regular except the last two. I'm going to just wait it out. I'm too nervous to go to the doc looking dumb so early in the game lol

@babycanuck: don't ever feel dumb.......if you need to go to feel better go

@babycanuck: My initial response is to tell you not to feel dumb. But I totally know what you mean. How late are you?

@LindsayInNY: right now just 1 day late BUT absolutely no signs of AF, which is really really weird. I'll keep using cheapie opks to see if anything shows before I use up a digi hpt.
I really think I'm just overthinking things. I have too much on my mind. My birthday is coming up. My BIL was talking to my husband about having another baby (theirs is 3 months old), a much younger girl I know who got married a couple of months ago announced her pregnancy on FB/IG, so a bunch of stuff at once just kind of bringing me down.

@babycanuck: I actually decided to call me RE and ask this exact same question, because I'm all for answers. My office actually told me two days. I was pretty stoked about that, because I'm never late. So they want me to call on Monday. I will be six days late.

@babycanuck: Also- you should not be feeling dumb, because a an uber professional baby doctor (That is what I like to call the RE) likes to get things checked after 48 hours! You're more then halfway there. See? You are totally justified.
I'm just so glad I established this relationship with the RE last year, otherwise I probably wouldn't be comfortable just calling my OB. Don't know why. Just a nerd, I think.

my dr has you come in when it's been 60 days since the beginning of your LMP and doesn't like you to go longer than 90 days without a period, so she induces by then.

@babycanuck: i would wait a week, if I confirmed O, just in case implantation was late.
