NB. Just under 7 pounds. I think almost all babies fit into NB when they are born. We took a 0-3m in too and it was huge!

Should have gotten NB clothes for sure. She was 7lb 12oz.

NB. He was over 8lbs and was 21 inches long and it was huge!

My ten pounder wore 0-3 months. My 8.5 pounder wore NB but it was short on her.

Forgot to add my son was just under 7 lbs when he was born. We were able to use newborn clothes for 6 weeks.

She wore NB and was 7 pounds 3 ounces when she left the hospital.

7lb, 7oz and NB fit perfectly.

She was 6lb15oz when we left the hospital and wearing NB.

NB for my big guy (8.5 lbs, 21.5"), and it looked big!

NB for my 9lbs 5oz, 22.5 inch "little one."

NB for both and both we right under 9lbs.

Preemie could be a good idea. My first LO was 6 lbs, 10 oz and NB clothes were swimming on her the first week or two. I would just get 1 preemie outfit though, and leave the tags on, because although the NB clothes were big at first, they fit perfectly 2 weeks in and then she outgrew them 4-6 weeks after that--so she could only wear them 6-8 weeks total.
I would imagine a Preemie outfit would fit perfectly for the first couple of weeks and then be outgrown.
Since 2nd babies are usually bigger, I'll probably just stick to the NB clothes again this time.

Nb for both. Ds1 was 7lbs9oz & ds2 was 6lbs13oz
