I have one pair of leggings--old navy brand. They are comfortable but really thin, and they also hold on to lint and hair like CRAZY.
I have heard good things about j crew's pixie pant...though they seem really pricey. Are there any other brands you recommend?
For the record I am 12 weeks pregnant with no real bump, but some lumps and a bit of a pot belly to begin with.

I refused to buy maternity leggings for so long because my others still fit fine...and then my mom bought me a maternity pair from Motherhood Maternity for Christmas and I'm completely convinced. The ones from Motherhood are fine, nothing special, but if you're pregnant, I'd definitely recommend picking up a maternity pair. I'm wishing I had earlier. So comfy.
My favorite pair of non-maternity leggings though were actually from Danskin...I used to figure skate, so I had a bunch of pairs that I started wearing with regular clothes.

I wear the Hue brand - they sell at Anthropologie and Macy's.
ETA: I have the JCrew pants and love them, but they aren't conducive to stretching in the stomach area with you.

I wear Lululemon leggings. I wore them through out my entire pregnancy and wear them now post partum and it really helps suck in the mommy belly I have. They are expensive but definitely worth the money for me (as long as you don't buy the sheer ones!).

I love my zella leggings. Expensive but worth it. And they last! I loved my gap maternity leggings though and wore them all the time after LO was born as well.

I like the target denim leggings they are thick and look like real pants with a zipper and real pockets. I dont know how long you can wear them for though if you are already 12 weeks

I wear HUE denim jeggings! They are super comfy but thick enough, and with back pockets!
Also love Uniqlo's legging jeans/pants. I have 2 pairs, they are pretty much like regular jeans/pants but with elastic waist

Another vote for Hue - they are not cheap, but they are good quality and hold up. For maternity, I lived in the leggings from a Pea in the Pod (can't remember what brand, but I found them there).

I think I am going to order the Hue ones. I tried some on at motherhood maternity today but it was my first time trying on anything maternity and it was really overwhelming. I was hoping the clothes would make my tee tiny bump look smaller, but they all just made me look pudgy. I was really surprised by how comfy the full panels were though!!!

I get most of my leggings from forever 21. They have cottony ones that I find more thin but they also have like spandexy ones that are very opaque and metallic pleather ones that are amazing. I get compliments on my leggings every single time I wear them. Not compliments on me in them, just the leggings the,selves lol. So go to forever 21. They range from $5-$15.

I have bought some fleece leggings affordable from jane.com! I love them. I also love the Aritzia leggings SO bought for me for Christmas. The ones from Motherhood aren't particularly high quality...and while I thought the black faded kind of fast, they are SO comfy!

Most of mine come from H&M. They're not see through at all. H&M has a ton of different leggings, so I'd go and try a few on. I have them in tons of colors. They're moderately warm, but not overly. I wear them every winter day.

Victoria's Secret leggings are super comfortable and flattering- they don't dig into my stomach.
@beaker: I have fleece lined leggings but they of I like crazy even after I washed them! I'm not sure if it's just the brand though..

@Weagle: I didn't have any before but my sister told me I'd be a size 0 and I was like "woman, you are crazy!" And she said that's what she wears and we wear same size jeans. Well i got the 2 because i didnt believe her, but they are big so.... I guess order your same size!

Ok guys, I finally ordered a pair of HUE leggings from amazon because the price was lower than I had ever seen it ($21, they retail for $36) and OMG I'M IN LOVE!! They are the perfect thickness, the waistband goes nice and high and is thick but NOT too stiff or tight. I'm wearing them right now. I'm in love. I actually wore a top I hate just so that I could wear these leggings today. Haha.

I've never even heard of HUE, but these reviews are making me want a pair! Confession - I've been wearing the same one pair of Old Navy leggings for years. Pre-preg, throughout the whole pregnancy, and now 15 months postpartum. It's probably time to buy another pair, ha

DH bought me a pair of maternity ones from Motherhood for Christmas and they're super comfortable. I can definitely see myself wearing them post-baby, too. Also, bonus points for being long since I'm pretty tall.

Lululemon. Though I didn't wear them while pregnant (tried them after). I wore target maternity leggings and they weren't too bad
