Since most of us will be inundated with candy tomorrow, what is your favorite kind? I am a twix girl myself, but really anything with caramel is my jam.

I bet I'm in the minority, but I love me some Almond Joy!
And yet, if I'm on a road trip or in a movie theater and want a snack, it's not my first choice (those would be something with caramel and twizzlers, respectively). I only crave Almond Joy at Halloween - go figure?

Reese's peanut butter cups in any shape! I had a white chocolate one in the shape of a ghost and it was so yummy!

Candy corn. Yup.
I will add that I really like the new Brach's that have natural food coloring.

Reese’s pieces, or peanut butter cups - so good! But I feel bad buying them for distributing because of potential allergies. Last year I bought them anyway, plus peanut free ones, and then asked every kid if they had an allergy, but it was kind of a hassle, easier to just err on the side of caution and go nut-free.

@crazydoglady: my husband is so grossed out by my love of candy corn and those mellowcreme pumpkins. But I made the kids like them too!

@BUNBUN: I love fun size almond joys! But like you I never reach for them other times of year.
My favorites are almond joy, kit kats, or peanut butter m&ms and caramel m&ms. But I'll eat lots of other goodies when they come around halloween.
@bhbee: @crazydoglady: I am not a fan of candy corn on it's own but we mix it with honey roasted peanuts and honey roasted almonds - it is so delicious and addictive!!!

Butterfinger! I feel like they are going out of style, though. My kids hardly get any.

@hitchhiker: definitely very hard to find! My daughter was trying to snag a few for me and for her Nanna at trunk or treat and came away with only two!
I love snickers an the occasional 100 Grand if I come across it. Also was eying DD’s chewy sweetarts when I was too thirsty for chocolate after the gym the other day!

Reeses, twix, and kit kat.
I sort candy this way:
1) My kids: Sucky candy (dots), messy candy (nerds, smarties), and lollipops
2) Me: Anything chocolate without nuts or coconut.
3) My classroom: Anything else (like warheads, gobstoppers, butterfingers, starburst, skittles, etc) [I give candy to the first 5 students per period who come in and get started on their bellwork; and, to any student who helps me out with a special task).

Jawbreakers. I usually get to eat them. My oldest at 5 could probably handle them now.

@PinkElephant: 100 grand is my very favorite candy, but hard to come by.
Otherwise, reese's, twix, butterfinger, sometimes snickers and milky ways. I also love when my kids pick up some weird variation on one of the above that I've never seen before, like butterfinger cups, and reese's with cookies in them.

I just had a Reese's Take 5 for the first time and it was fantastic. Otherwise I'm all about the sour patch kids!

CANDY CORN!!
I have a million food allergies so I go out of my way to buy the safe candy corn once per year, just before Halloween.
Any other time of the year, Swedish Fish are my jam.

@foodiebee: Take 5 is my ultimate all-time favorite candy. They've been around for years but recently rebranded to include the 'Reeses' and I'm hoping that will help people buy them more so they stick around. SO GOOD.
I'm also a coconut fan but more of a Mounds girl vs. Almond Joy because of the dark chocolate. Reeses cups/pieces, Snickers, Twix, and Milky Way Midnight are more faves from the chocolate category. Skittles win for fruity candy, and I love me a Sweet Tart and Sour Patch Kid mini pack.
Basically, I like candy ;P

Jelly belly, twizzlers, and skittles. I love skittles so much that when DS got "zombie skittles" (where every ~5th skittle tastes terrible) I still ate every package ::facepalm::

Genuinely - tootsie rolls! Which is great because usually no one else likes them and I get them all!!
