What have you cooked lately that is just AWESOME?
I made up a recipe for white chicken chili last night and honestly it was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Soups are really easy though, so I know it's not a huge accomplishment. I am enjoying the leftovers today!

OMG. I am such a bad cook, but last night I made a roast in the slow cooker. It was soooo good and I even made gravy to go with it. Everything turned out perfect which never happens for me!

Today I am making my cassoulet, which is really freaking tasty. Chicken thighs, carrots, onion, garlic, chorizo, and white beans all stewed together, with crispy bread to soak up all the yummy juices. Mmmmm!

I wanted to make lasagna but didn't have the noodles so I made a baked ziti slash lasagna and it was AMAZING. My DH hates leftovers and actually went and got those leftovers on his own.

Last night I made a tortellini soup that was pretty great. I'm just glad I've been so good about cooking lately. I also made mishro burgers and beef broccoli last week that were great. And I made a German chocolate cake with caramel buttercream.

I have quite a few recipes that I know will never fail, like my mac and cheese and my chicken broccoli casserole.
The best thing I've made recently was probably the Shepherd's Pie I made on Sunday. It was more work than I would put in on a weeknight, but it was totally worth it.
