The lint that my dryer has caught both times I have washed my A+A blankets is almost unreal. The first time I washed them, when I opened the dryer, lint came falling out. How long does that last?! It takes forever to dry a load with those in there.

Hmm I don't remember having that problem! So I imagine it will go away soon.

Haha this happened to me too. I only washed them once but it was a white fluffy explosion in my lint trap!!!

That's odd, I just washed LO's for the first time and nothing came off of them...

Same thing happened to me. L is 3 months and they still put off a lot of lint!

I can't say I've noticed any different amount of lint. But I always tumble dry on low or even delicate for most of our laundry.

I'm glad I am not the only one...I wasn't sure what else it could be so I assumed it was the blankets. Maybe that is a difference between the 44 inch ones and the 47 inch ones.
@shopaholic: I always tumble dry on low too. I think it is weird that it happens randomly.

I'd lint roll them and then, wash them for a 2nd time. I never dry my a&a in the dryer, not even on low because they kind of bunch up? I don't know how to explain it.
I just hang dry them. They are so thin that it takes like 25mins.

@TurtleDoves: I bought three of the burpy bibs and one shrank and the other two didn't. I bought the two that didn't shrink at BBB and the one that did shrink came from BRU. I didn't notice my blankets shrinking. I wonder what the difference is.
@dagret: mine are 47 inch also.

@TurtleDoves: @MrsHotDog: I just went on A&A's website and they actually say to hang dry!
I did notice the burly bibs seem to kind of shrivel up in the dryer the first time!

@shopaholic: the tags on mine say to tumble dry on low. And DO NOT IRON...who would do that?!?
kiwi / 711 posts
@dagret: I have never needed a tag to tell me not to iron something. Haha.

@dagret: Yeah, I had to double check the tags on mine and it says "tumble dry low" too. But here is the page I was reading. I guess if you have a lot of time and places to hang dry!
