I have a serious addiction to chapstick and lip gloss. For some reason, I keep needing to reapply lip gloss, especially lately, until it feels "just right." I'm thinking it might just be time to find a new brand so I don't have this compulsion.
I'm currently using Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lip gloss. I like that it's thick and stays on but am open to any sort of consistency. Sooo, send me your lip gloss suggestions! I prefer drug store prices

For drug store prices, I would go with Cover girl, maybelline or Rimmel

Hm. I usually use Baby Lips or Color Whispers for drugstore...but those are more balmy less glossy.
My ultimate favorite lip gloss is Buxom Lip Polish! (http://www.sephora.com/buxom-full-on-lip-polish-P174213) - it has over 7,000 5 star reviews. Pricey at $19 a tube..but I love it. Has a little bit of tingle, smells great, lasts a long time, and adds just the right amount of color.
ETA: I have Debbie and Kanani and love both colors.

I am a lip gloss addict too, i swear i've tried at least 30 diff kinds in my life, and the best I've found is c.o. bigelow (at bath & body works)!

@Littlebit: I wouldn't mind the price if I knew it would last more than 2 weeks... I wish I were kidding! I might have to bookmark it for a Christmas gift or something.

@betsyboop: yes! those are my favourite!!!! I have a dozen CO Bigelow lip glosses to keep in every purse and jacket pocket. I'm a lip gloss hoarder!
I also really love the EOS lip glosses.

I have a friend who is also addicted (sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night just to reapply). She only uses Avon brand, apparently its the most waxy?

Smashbox! It's not drugstore priced, but it isn't TOO spendy.
It is the best consistency and it isn't too sticky, but it stays on a long time. I love all the color choices--I swear I have them all!

You can also get Smashbox lip gloss at the Rack.... much cheaper than the cosmetics department at the big Nordstrom!

You MUST try Armour lip gloss. It's ah-mazing! But it's not drug store price - it's spendy 
but it's money well spent!

I've been using the same tube of buxom gloss everyday since Christmas, so it's not drugstore priced, but it's lasts a long time! I like Jessica as an everyday neutral color.

Sign up for birch box. every month they have a different lip balm, which helps to feed my addiction last month there was a Dr

Honestly? If stick to VS Beauty Rush! It's the only lipgloss I've used for YEARS. I've tried so so so many other brands but now they all sit in a big makeup bag: used once or twice.
I always go back to the VS because like you said, it's so thick! Love the high sheen and the flavors/scents/shades.
My favorite is "cupquake"

I LOVE Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment, from Sephora. Not drugstore, but it's my absolute favorite. It comes in a few tints but I usually use the plain one.

@TurtleDoves: I'm thinking the VS lip gloss varies by flavor or something. Some seem to last better or longer than others. Never heard of cupquake but that sounds pretty darn good!!
