Hi all! I took my 19 month old in to check in what I thought was a swollen lymph node behind her ear (that little space between your way and jaw). Our doctor diagnosed it as a tiny lipoma (size of a pea), benign fatty lump. Just curious if anyone else on here as dealt with a similar diagnosis and whether your toddler ended up getting more lipomas or if they grew large enough to be removed at some point? My husband’s side of the family is prone to lipomas so he’s concerned this is a sign that she’ll get a bunch. Pediatrician didn’t seem concerned and mentioned they were fairly common and often never grew large enough to remove and rarely turned into multiples. Thanks-
