My daughter has been calling me "dad" more and more... I guess she's going off of what her brother calls me. It just sounds so grown up. My little baby is all grows'd up!! I thought I was ok with it, but for some reason this morning it hit me really hard.
This week, my son has been refusing to hold my hands during the walk to school. Or he'll ask me to walk ahead of him and he'll follow behind me. If I look back at him, he will get upset with me.

She is starting to say Mommy and not Mama. Seeing her in big girl panties is really making it clear that she isn't a baby anymore.

As I left for work this morning, she waved, said "See ya, Mama", and kept playing. Ugh, what a big kid.

My 16 month old daughter has actually routinely started doing her morning "chores" (putting her pajamas in the laundry and diaper in the trash) without me showing her or asking. Where did my baby go?

@Punky: haha! So cute. That was a phase for LO. She used to be so good at putting away her dirty clothes. Not anymore...sigh!
Yesterday I told LO, remember you used to always yell Mommy and run to me when I picked you up in preschool? THen she said, "I don't do that anymore because I am a grown up now."
