We currently have leaning bookshelves in our living room, which also pretty much functions as our play room. It is becoming obvious that they are not going to last long, as C becomes more mobile and more curious. They are anchored to the wall at the top but she is now trying to climb onto the bottom shelf, and I'm worried about her falling into the corners of the shelves but if I try putting corner pads on them, she pulls on them and the whole bookshelf twists from where it is anchored. Not good.

So, we are sadly planning on getting rid of them, but will still need some kind of storage and shelves, both for our stuff (up high) and it would be nice to have shelves to put her stuff in. We don't want the room to totally look like a playroom though, since it's pretty much our only room- our condo is pretty much two bedrooms and one big living room kitchen area.

What kind of furniture do you have that is functional, but safe for curious toddlers with no sense? Bonus points for pictures
