Have you ever bought a Living Social Cleaning Service deal? Did they do a good job? Did you look up reviews for the company first? Or, do you stick to friends recommendations when it comes to someone cleaning the house?

Any services I've purchased on those daily deal websites have left me very disappointed. They get slammed with tons of new business because of a deal and can't keep up with the pace. That has been my experience every single time. I would just hire a regular service.

I'm not sure if it was LivingSocial or Groupon, but I did buy one for a cleaning service and was very disappointed. I paid $85 and they only ended up cleaning half my house, whereas I've paid other companies around the same amount and they cleaned the whole thing. Definitely check the reviews first!

i bought one and everytime i tried to make an appointment i couldnt get anyone on the phone, I ended up having to call livingsocial and got a refund

I've bought 2 cleaning service deals through either Living Social or Groupon (can't remember which) and both times the deal was cancelled after I bought the coupon. I think a lot of companies get in over their heads with those deals, and then can't live up to the number of certificates they sell. boo
