Just wondering when you started cleaning your LO's teeth and what you used. How many teeth did they have when you started cleaning them? Did you use a wash cloth or a toothbrush? How receptive were they to getting their teeth cleaned? My LO (8.5 months) does not like opening his mouth for me to even inspect his teeth, let alone cleaning them! I have this infant finger toothbrush that I used and he started chewing on my finger! At least he opened his mouth though!

At six months I started wiping them down with a wet baby washcloth every night. She didn't mind a lot but she hates toothbrushing these days at 15 months.

I started cleaning her mouth before she had teeth I use a gum and tooth finger brush That comes free with the earths best and gerber infant mouth cleanser.
My baby also chews on my finger whilst I clean her teeth but I still do it. she has 5 teeth now

around 6 months when he got his first two teeth. we use a simple finger brush, i think im gonna switch to a baby tooth brush soon (he's 9 months)

Until a couple of weeks ago we used a wet washcloth. Now we use a toothbrush and Branam xylitol paste. She loves having her teeth brushed!

6 months, we use a toothbrush every night before bed. She loves it, even though she's trying to chew on it.

Also around 6-months because that was when she sprouted her first two teeth. I started with a washcloth, and moved onto the infant finger toothbrush you use too - I also got chewed on!.. maybe it's a parental rite of passage, haha.

I use a fingerbrush still (she is 9.5 months old) and she chews my finger. I just ordered her a new toothbrush from Amazon because I thinkit is time to graduate.

We're going to start pretending now at 4.5 months before he has teeth. I'm hoping if I make a part of the nightly routine he won't fight it!!

LO is 3 months and at bathtime the first thing i do is run a wet washcloth against his gums to just get him used to it--my friend is a dentist so she was on my case about it!

We are just starting now, at 7.5 months, since LO just cut his 1st two teeth a few weeks ago. We are using an infant toothbrush, but it's proven to be a challenge so far. LO will not let us in his mouth at all...we are trying every night during bath time, so hopefully sooner or later he'll get used to it.

I think it was around 6 months, she hates it and fights it. I still use the finger brush when she won't let me use the toothbrush, but she bites!!

when his first tooth was tall enough to clean we started wiping it with a washcloth at bath time. he doesn't mind it all, but then again he loves putting any and everything in his mouth.

DS is 3 weeks and I've started using a cloth on his gums every couple days to get him used to it.
