Now that it is nice outside and we are spending more time outdoors, T keeps demanding to go outside (going to the back door and banging on door) and yelling/crying when we come indoors. He looooves being outside!
He is 11.5 months old.
Anyone else?

Yes, same here! 19 month old is doing the same... I have been trying to make our back patio more kid friendly and am also installing a screen door in the kitchen so that I can cook while they are outside and still keep an eye on them and hear them. Now if I can only keep the mosquitos away!

Yep. DD always wanted to go outside!
She loves going outside still, but doesn't beg for it like she used to when she was younger.

LMW almost followed me out the door this morning when we left for work!! She is FAST at crawling now. I looked down and she was totally following me out. Broke my heart! Haha. But our nanny is taking them out for a walk today for sure.

Not yet! It's still pretty cold here but i'm sure she will once it's warm out! I bet if LO did that with her dad he would lock her out to teach her a lesson lol.

We learned within the first few weeks that R loves outside. If she is crying we can walk out on the deck and she calms down. It is amazing.

@Smurfette: It was the same for us in the early days - he was always calm outside!

My LO does this too. If you take him for a walk and try to turn around to head back towards home he freaks out. He always wants to keep walking away from the house.

Yep, B bangs on the door with his cup. We are trying to put together a play area outside for him but with work demands it's taking longer than expected.

Yes! Yesterday LO had a complete meltdown because we went out to get the mail. She didn't think it was sufficient time outside apparently. Her daycare is very adamant about outdoor time. They go out twice per day weather permitting. The temps have to be over 40 (I'm not sure what the maximum temp is).

DS is 13 months old and loves to play outside. One of his first words was outside!

M loves to bang on the door! We were home this morning and she was banging on the door when she saw the workers out back. She knows the word "outside" already because we say it to the dog every time we are taking her out.
