So, I was looking at DS yeseterday and I noticed his first tooth is coming in. Aghhhhh!! I thought I had a few months. What exactly do I need to get? Brennan has his own little timeline, I just wish he would let mommy and daddy in on it so we could be prepared!

Do you mean what do you need for teething? I don't use anything unless she seems bothered by it, and she didn't get bothered by it until now (14 months) when lots of teeth started coming in at once.

The best thing we found for teething was a wet washcloth! Sometimes the frozen tethers helped too.

.@artbee: I wasn't sure if there were special teething toys we needed to purchase. Or if he needs anything for pain.. I heard babies sometimes get fevers when teething

I'm a big fan of Sophie for a teether, she just loves that thing. Otherwise just take it one day at a time, not all kiddos get a fever, some don't even need any help with pain. I'm a big fan of Boiron's Camillia for a holistic remedy instead of always giving her tylenol for pain.

Wow, that was fast! LO is a little over 4 months now and I think it's going to happen soon enough, based on all the drooling/chewing on Sophie that's going on over here. I went ahead and got on Amazon and ordered a teether that we can freeze and some Hyland's teething tablets just to have on hand.
