Oh my gosh, so gross! She was crawling around playing and I saw her chewing on something so I went and fished it out and it was pieces of fly. The wing was on her cheek. I think I'm going to throw up.
What is the nastiest thing your LO ever ate?

I don't even want to share but it's way grosser than a fly!

Ugh!!! E got a dead cockroach in his mouth while we were playing on the patio the other day. Disgusting!!! I fished it out and the head was severed. Omg. So gross.

I'm sorry, but that's really funny (and really gross). She must be really quick though! My dog tries to catch flies all the time but never can get them.
LO is still baking, so only eats what I eat

I think DD put a fly in her mouth once too. Thankfully she took it out before chomping on it.
sick!

LOL! I'm sorry, I couldn't help but laugh.... mainly b/c we were just talking with G the other day about all the bugs we eat while sleeping (gross to think about but totally true!)
I honestly can't remember any gross things that G ate & so far P's crazy things have been things like sticks & leaves. lol

@Foodnerd81: I assume my cat got to it, killed it, and then she found it dead. It was by the screen in our foyer, and I don't go over there much...so yeah. Ew.

hahahaha sorry. this is pretty funny.
I have no idea, I bet my kids have both eaten stuff like that without me even noticing, so that's worse. I remember when my first was picking something out of the carpet, my husband was so pleased he had developed his pincer grasp that he didn't even stop him from eating whatever that crap was.

@Bao: Sigh. Please don't judge me too harshly. He had just started crawling the day before and we hadn't yet moved the cat box to a place he couldn't reach it. Enough said?

A cricket!! One got in our house and he was crawling around trying to get it. I didn't think he'd be able to catch it so I turned my back for a minute and when I looked back it him it was half in his mouth. He ate half of it before I could pull it out of his mouth. So gross lol

@Bao: Oh this might make you feel better-- when I was a baby I managed to eat a screw from an airplane or airport changing table. (My mom saw it, looked away for a second, then it was gone, or something?) My mom had to keep checking my diapers to make sure it passed. We both survived

@Bao: Apparently I wasn't the brightest baby on the block. I also managed to put a plastic grocery store bag over my head in the car while my mom was driving-- she looked in the rearview mirror and saw it. Again, I was fine, but I started crying when she yelled at me to take it off because she never told me not to put plastic bags over my head.
I swear I'm smart now.

@Bao: I was gagging trying to get it all out of his mouth. He gets a lot of supervised independent floor time, but I was signing for a package when it happened and he's a quick little sucker.

Ew! I once read an online article about a baby eating a chipmunk head.
My kid has thankfully never done anything like that, but he did once shove a Nerd up his nose. His snot was purple when it got stuck and he cried. It dissolved, so it's funny, now.

Dog food, I swear she keeps finding random pieces (our dog carries the food in her mouth and drops it to eat wherever we are) I've moved the bowl and only feed after she's in bed but it's not working! She finds them and puts in mouth before I can stop her.

Hahaha! Thank goodness they are so young that they don't realize the grossness yet!
