The last two days my LO has been punching himself in the head while feeding. Normally he waves his arms a lot and he'll play with his hair but now he's legitimately punching his head pretty hard. I try to hold his arm but then he got angry with me and he bit me. I'm assuming if it REALLY hurt, he would stop but it sounds and looks pretty painful still. Has this happened to anyone else?

E does the same thing sometimes. I try to give him his lovey to hold on to while he's eating and sometimes that will get him to stop. I swear his little arms are possessed though.

yup! My LO punches herself in the head and pulls her hair. Crazy babies!

Mine does the same thing. It looks (and sounds) crazy!

I agree - it's crazy! He just started doing it out of nowhere and he punched his eye and now I'm paranoid he's going to bruise himself and the daycare will think we're abusing him. Crazy babies!

he doesn't quite punch but he definitely wacks himself pretty hard....I figure its self soothing and if he's not in pain/causing injury to himself then it's okay.
PS: It's better than him pinching me!
PPS: Okay that sounded way better in my head.
