@MamaCate: My DS (22 mo) is telling me when he poops too. We put out the little potty, but he doesn't like sitting in it at all so I haven't been forcing it. @Mrs. Twine: thanks for the reminder that I need to get my potty books/DVD's out. The Elmo Potty episode has a really fun song that my DD really liked for potty time.

In my opinion you can't go wrong with Baby Bjorn. This one has actually turned out to be Lorelei's favorite (Ellie was scared of the big potty for a long time, even after being in underwear full-time for several months). She likes to sit where big people sit.

We are struggling with this too. I wish we had actually started sooner. We have the Bjorn with the insert and its not bad. She likes the insert on the big potty though.
