We've been struggling to get T to latch at night ever since we got home from the hospital. He just fights it and tosses his head back and forth no matter what I feel like I am trying. The LCs, nurses, and our pediatrician recommend we try for 10 minutes before giving him a bottle of pumped milk because it just wears him out and turns into an hour plus long battle of trying to get him on. Two nights ago, I was able to get him on and it was no big deal! I have no idea what I did differently. He is so not feeling it now. He does fine during the day. May fight it for 5-10 min but I always get him on.

Thoughts? I'm not sure what to do or what to try. This isn't sustainable long term.

We are having a tongue tie clipped later today and I'm seeing an LC tomorrow
