My family is very fortunate to live on a block with lots of very active kids. I think it's great for my 2 year old. The only thing is there are 8 boys and only one other girl (and she rarely plays out front).

LO tells me all about the things boys do. Since she's the youngest by two years the boys often tell her she can't do things until she's a big boy. I point out to her and the boys that big girls can do things too.

Today LO told me only boys (men) can deliver mail. I actually argued with my 2 year old. Face palm.

I'd like to read her a book with a girl/woman can do whatever a boy/man can do. Any suggestions?
