What are your LOs favorite play kitchen foods or accessories? Strangely enough, K and all the LOs that come over to play, LOVE this fake, plastic corn! All the plastic foods were hand-me-downs and even though I want to throw most of them away, she loves the stinkin' corn. She also loves the M&D wooden cutting knives, plastic milk cups , and whisk.

Food themed fridge magnets! A neighbor has a whole bunch and every time we visit, DS starts rearranging and naming them

The food baskets. She fills them up with everything she can find that will fit in them.

DS loves the whisk. He walks around going "mix mix" with a bowl and a random piece of play food. He also enjoys the ladle and a plastic orange.

Plastic milk jug, plastic fruit set, plastic drum stick, and plastic cups...they are so colorful so I can see the fascination with plastic toys. We bought her a few wooden sets for Christmas so hope she likes them too.

@shopaholic: honestly, I find the plastic stuff better sometimes. C has managed to break one of the metal pots that came with her kitchen, but my parents plastic ones have seen way more abuse and are still going strong.

He loves the melissa and doug wooden pizza and pizza cutter. He is always "cooking" pizza and sharing it with us.

@shopaholic: yes, fake ones! My mom found them online somewhere. She had an older little tikes kitchen set that she got at a yardsale and it has an ice maker with ice cubes. She got extra for it too because DS misplaced them once. I think she found the extra on eBay. It's one of my favorites too!
