After seeing pics of latch boards and busy boards, DH and I decided that they would be a good idea for LO. I finished making ours tonight, and she loved it!

Someone mentioned in a comment on a blog post about diy latch boards that that white thing at the end of the doorstop could be a choking hazard... don't know if it comes off, but thought I'd mention it!

@mrbee: was just going to mention that same thing. We've had to take them off all our door stops since dd is able to get them off pretty easily.

@katsupgirl: Painting the board took about 15 minutes. Once it was all dry, assembly took about an hour, and that was with LO trying to "help" me.
@loveisstrange: You should. It was so easy!
@mrbee: I tried so hard to remove the white caps and they weren't coming off. I'll keep an eye on them, and if they loosen I will glue them on or remove them altogether. Thanks for the reminder.
