Since winter is setting in, our air is getting dry. I try to keep lotion on all the time, but right now, nothing seems to be working! (I also try to lotion to keep stretch marks away!).
What lotion do you use or think is the best?

Weleda Skin Food. Pricey, but the best for cracked dry hands!

Right now when my skin is dry and flaky I use a no name brand (compliments, from Sobey's) that has Oatmeal in it.

@Mrs. Bee: They make a diaper rash cream too that is awesome! I never thought of looking at their lotion though!

I use a lotion every day after the shower, right now I am using Nivea. If I am pressed for time, I use an oil in the shower. I also use an ointment type lotion on my hands, I find that handwashing is really taking a toll.

I prefer Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream (the cream, not the lotion). It is awesome. It was the only thing that worked when I was on accutane several years ago. I also used it on my belly/thighs during pregnancy.

My legs get very dry and itch so I use the Shea Butter Body Butter from The Body Shop for very dry skin. For my hands I use L'occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream. It is rich but not greasy which I don't like for my hands.

I use Kiehl's Creme de Corps for my body and Kiehl's Unusually-Rich-But-Not-Greasy-At-All hand cream for my eczema. Both are wonderful products, but pricey. I think it is worth it, though we usually wait for a sale. We got my husband's Mom the Ultimate Strength Hand Salve last year and she looooves it.

I use Cetaphil lotion, as well as Dr. Hauschka’s Black Thorn body oil to help prevent stretch marks – the oil is light and makes my skin super, super soft.
At work, I have lotions from Crabtree & Evelyn (my mom always gets me these as stocking stuffers), which are pretty nice too.

@mediagirl: Is that really what the hand lotion is called?! That is awesome!!!!
I am a major hand washer (poor hands), but I hate the oily lotions too. I will try some of these other ones! Thanks ladies!!!

Aveno Baby Lotion, Unscented. I am allergic to perfumes so this lotion always seems to be the best for me! Plus it's not greasy at all, I love it!

I swear by St Ives Oatmeal and Shea butter Advanced body moisturizer. I have tried many different lotions and this one is without a doubt the best for my dry skin.

@Rosie Girl: it is, isn't that hilarious?? They're right, too!
