I thought it would be fun to add a few magical touches around the house for Christmas morning. I've come across ones like Santa's boot print or glitter outside from the reindeer, or something similar to that. I'm wondering if any of you have any ideas of something easy that can be done to add a little Christmas magic to the morning!

One year my mom put a red scarf in the fire place so it looked like santa forgot his scarf. We did that when DD was three, so she didn't really get it.
When my mom was young my grandfather threw snowballs on the roof so that it sounded like reindeer feet!
My daughter's kindergarten class made reindeer food, so we'll put that outside. I don't think it turns into anything (like candy canes etc) but she's super excited about it.

We have some reindeer food we're sprinkling outside. It's oats and glitter, yes.

The reindeer always make a big mess of what we leave them outside.

When we were little...we would always go outside looking for reindeer tracks...some years we'd find them and others we could not.
One year we found a bell - an old fashioned style sleigh bell. My mom never confessed if she had something to do with it or not...I remember it being incredible to find it. I think my older sisters were teetering on "believing or not" at that point and I think it was pretty magical finding the bell...

Have Santa leave "authentic" North Pole hot chocolate to enjoy with breakfast. Just discard the bags/labels and layer cocoa mix, crushed candy canes and marshmallows in a festive mason jar. Maybe attach a tag from Mrs. Claus.
A friend of mine "wraps" her son's bedroom door in crepe paper so he busts through it, Christmas morning.

We always left baby carrots for the reindeer and there were always half eaten carrots left the next morning for us to find!
