I know this isnt funny, but it made me laugh. Basically he first assumed that the "ugly" baby was not his child, and then found out his wife had had a lot of surgery to improve her looks.
By the way i dont think the baby is ugly.

Also, no matter how ugly your baby is, i would never be angry about it. Horrible!

I do think she should have told her husband about the plastic surgery but I don't agree with the ruling. I've seen some unpleasant looking people have beautiful babies and vice versa so there's no guarantee you're going to have a cute baby!

Oh jeesh! My husband and I have joked about this a few times, that plastic surgery is false advertising, we're mean people I guess.
But I have wondered if there's any surprises when people have kids after plastic surgery or if the kids wonder about their features or feel pressured into plastic surgery bc they know their parent didn't like that feature on themselves.

@chopsuey119: bahaha! Although I heard that it is becoming quite common for future in-laws to ask to see baby pictures of their future daughter-in-laws because plastic surgery is so common there!

the story might be horrible, but i don't believe the pictures. it looks like one news outlet found an example of an asian woman who got extensive plastic surgery and added to the article. and another news outlet found a random picture of a non-asian baby tagged as "ugly baby" on flickr and used it as a stock image.
then again, no one would have read the story without any pictures. pretty dumb all around.

@chopsuey119: My stepmom used to joke about Korean men marrying women who had so much plastic surgery that when their child was born they couldn't accept that it was theirs. And then their MIL would tell them that's what their wife used to look like pre-surgery!
