Holy f*ck, you guys. I guess I'm going to jump over to the due date board. There was a gestational sac and a yolk sac!! The dr said it's too early for a fetal pole (I'm only 5 weeks, 2 days). Of course we are leaving for a week vacation on Sunday, so instead of checking for a heartbeat in 1 week, I have to wait almost 2 weeks for her next appointment after we get back. First world problems, I know. But hopefully the trip will be relaxing and a good distraction.

@Chuckles: So exciting!!! So glad to see that you got good news today! (I wish there were a jumping up and down emoji) Have fun on your vacation!!

@Chuckles: Yay! Awesome news, congrats!
@karenbme: Is your spotting gone?
I've officially peed on all of the sticks. The (expired) wondfos were actually positive before the FRER Lines are progressing nicely, still too early for a digital I think. Not that that stopped me from trying
I need to call for my appointment. My OB almost exclusively uses LMP for dating, but I O'd like CD23 soooo that won't be very accurate.

@bees_knees: Congrats on your lines! Spotting tapered off yesterday. I still have a slight purplish tinge when I wipe, but thatβs it, so π€π€π€ Iβll get my first level tomorrow. My lines keep getting darker, but weβll see. I would love to see an FRER darker than the control in the morning, but that might be getting greedy.
Question for the group, has anyone had hot flashes super early in a pregnancy? Iβm only 3+5, but had multiple hot flashes today. A rando website said that hot flashes are caused by falling estrogen, which freaked me out, but the Mayo Clinic says the cause of hot flashes is unknown, so Iβm sticking with that...

Just got home from the hospital a few hours ago. (*I have not had time to read up so I truly apologize.) After about 56 hours of a migraine (*SEVERE- vomit, aura, vision loss, etc), I had a grand mal seizure. Although following my diet exactly, I still seized so they kept me 2 days. I have had an MRI, EEG, and DEEG, as well as a freakish amount of bloodwork. They cannot figure out if the migraine caused it OR if it was stress, or I wasn't "perfect" with my keto diet OR a combo of everything. In any case, when they initially ran a beta, I was 6.75, however, as of this morning, I am at 5.12. (Were I to be successfully pregnant, my numbers would be higher.) So, either I had a CP or was [minimally] holding on to HCG. IDK, but the last few days have been unbelievably difficult and I would to prefer to think this cycle failed (and no CP). I am 16/17 dpo so IDK when I will return to homeostasis. I am hoping soon so I can begin my next month of TTC [with positivity, as always]). I need to contact my RE (and neurologist) on the next step. Fingers crossed and prayers are always welcome. I have missed you ALL. Hugs to everyone.

Thank you, ladies. It has been a rough week and, I'm starting to worry since in the last 4 months, I haven't been able to catch a break (both in regards to health or in a BFP). π€¦ββοΈ It is what it is ...
Anyway, I hope all you ladies are doing well.
As for me (17/18 dpo) - My BBT chart is still "on the up" even with my low amounts of HCG (* Mind you, I had the DH bring me my purse, phone, glasses, contact fluid, AND my TD, when he went home to feed the kids and check on the pups.... I also believe I sold 2 nurses on getting a TD. π€£). Anyway, chart affixed:

@Kaohinani: oh my, glad you're back but sorry you went through all that. Do they think it's related to hormone fluctuations? I know you always have some issues with this, bit it see to be worse and more frequent lately.

@Kaohinani: I'll have to make a call before the end of the month because I'll have a short lapse in coverage between jobs. Get provera or wait for? I don't know how long to bleed.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Sams Mom: Such a tough decision! I would give it 3 more days and see what happens ... if your temps don't rebound, get a beta (sometimes, the ugliest charts make for a BFP and the pretty ones don't... I always have the textbook "perfect" ones with no BFP. ) and, if no measurable amounts of HCG, get the Provera. That is just my opinion, if course.

@Kaohinani: no updates really over here. Had some serious ewcm on 3/20, so that was interesting. I've been on bc for my entire adult life and I don't think i noticed it like that last time we were ttc (uh or mom brain happened lol ). So according to my app I should have my next period the beginning of april so I most likely won't poas this month. And I'm pretty positive I'm not either.
I haven't caught up in a while but I'm heading out to take dd to the Dr so ill try to come back later!!

I have an update, but itβs not great news. Iβm pretty sure Iβm out this month. Iβm still a few days away from AF, but Iβm getting all the PMS symptoms and my temp has started to drop. Feeling disappointed, but mostly just worried about my hubby. He was so excited before our chemical in December and I feel a bit like Iβm letting him down. Our doctor has referred us to a fertility specialist and Iβve decided that weβll give it another try on our own next month and then move on to doing all the testing. Weβve had a year of ntnp and now a number of months with charting and temping so itβs hard to not assume something might be going wrong.
On a more positive note, I did want to add that while I donβt post much (I will never be able to keep up with you guys!) I really appreciate all that you share. I have learnt (and continue to learn!) so much from your experiences. Thank you for taking the time to share, especially during the tough days.
Next time I pop back in will probably be on the April POAS board, but Iβll let you guys know if things somehow start looking up this month. Until then, Iβll be keeping my fingers crossed for everyone.

@Kaohinani: interestingly I was just hearing about neurologic irritability with progesterone drops - they were talking about propensity for seizure in the luteal phase but I wonder if that is the case with stopping synthetic progesterone too π€

@Sams Mom: This photo is adorable, and Iβm glad to hear youβre having fun!
@Blythe: Sorry to hear this. Good luck in April!
@fuzzypeaches: Thatβs really interesting. Itβs crazy how many things are impacted by hormone fluctuations.
AFM, I wound up calling the doctor after some spotting earlier in the week and got my first beta today. It came back at 408, which is so much higher than it has been with either of the ectopics at this point, and according to Betabase, just a bit above the median for 16 dpo. Iβm still a long way from feeling confident that weβll have a baby in November, but I feel really good about this one being in the right place at this point. π€π€

@fuzzypeaches: Thanks, hun. I agree, this month started with a bang and was phenomenal for the first two weeks; however, as the month dredged on, BFPs began to peter out and bad news abound many of us. I can, most certainly, agree that I am a bit bummed as well. Let us hope π€ April affords more of us some luck.
P.S. I would would love to read an article or study on that! Since I am so P4-sensitive (and I know my Fibromyalgia flares with AF and OV), π€I wouldn't doubt my hormones are at play in triggering both my migraines and [beyond stress and exhaustion] my epilepsy. ββοΈ If you find any information on said topic, feel free to send it my way.
@Sams mom: OMG, Sam and his Pa are CUTEST! β£ What a "big guy," he looks to be sitting there (mirroring his grandfather) ... oh, and I LOVE your "derp" of a Lab (* your words, not mine. ). I hope you are having a spectacular time in Nashville!
@Blythe: I am sorry to hear that you think you are "out" this month. I also feel like my body is failing me and I am failing to give DH a 3rd (or 4th) child. I hope that, if you don't get a BFP, you still join the April board as we would miss you if you did not.
@karenbme: I am soooooooo unbelievably excited for you! π₯° Those numbers are PHENOMENAL! (I wish I were able to move to the November Mama's board with you; however, since I won't be, I am just thrilled you will be! Don't be a stranger! )
@Paranundrum: and @Yellowbeach: How are you ladies? π€·ββοΈ I hope doing well.
As for me, I had a slight temp drop this morning at 19 dpo and started spotting a bit. Mind you, I NEVER spot BEFORE my AF (just a bit after 2-3 days of flow). I am calling it as I am "out" and the spotting is due to the drop in P4. Perhaps, AF will arrive this evening? IDK. I may shuffle on over to the April POAS board.

@Sams Mom: I have NO clue what is going on with your cycle (or mine, to be honest). π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ I had a tiny bit of deep red/brown spotting this morning (enough to lightly show on a liner but no consistency in flow) and now NADA. So confused! π€·ββοΈ I either want my BFP or for AF to hurry up so I can [formally] begin month 38 (since we have to take June off bc DH will be gone for 24 days!)!

@Kaohinani: Iβm here just nursing what is now a head cold after a whole week of fevers in me and DH plus π€’π€. Iβm waiting for AF maybe today but more likely tomorrow based on it taking 4 days from stopping PIO for her to come my last few medicated cycles.
