@littlek: obviously. I you. I HATE that you make me admit that!
And also because I'm not getting a bfp tomorrow haha. So, we can go back and fourth all day

@sandy: @CupQuakeWalk: Not gonna lie, ever since I started taking progesterone, I've dreaded having to POAS. I think it's because I HAVE to do it and can't wait for AF. And don't get AF signs when I'm on the progesterone.

@MrsMcD: and I'm 35 so on a little faster timeline due to my "advanced maternal age"

@sandy: That is such a horrible phrase!!!!!!!!! My sister's pregnancy was often referred to as a "geriatric pregnancy". We laughed about it, though. I hope you can find some humor in all of this.
coconut / 8475 posts
@MrsMcD: what in the HELL is that supposed to mean? "Geriatric pregnancy". Wow! Find a new term, people.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@littlek: I in no way feel advanced. Sometimes I just feel like I am 19 years old. Its no fair.
@CupQuakeWalk: Seriously. Get it together, medical terminology people!

Excited for our testers today, fx for good news!!
I am personally happy to be 1 dpo! We're fitting in one more bd but I'm always happy to get past this stage.

Well, another . Not surprising. At some point I have to get pregnant, right? Right??

@LindsayInNY: sorry for the bfn I think the re will help you get there soon!
coconut / 8475 posts
@LindsayInNY: was coming on here to say the same. I'm sorry:( and yes- you will get pregnant. I wish I could tell you when & I wish I knew when for myself too :'(
Bfn. I really don't feel like testing until AF is late. AF is due Monday, which means i'd test Tuesday morning if she doesn't come before then.
But I have no hope. I'm going to out shopping all day, so I'm even wearing a panty liner to catch any pre-AF spotting.
@sandy: good luck Sandy! You're testing today aren't you?

I chickened out and didn't test today. I'm 12dpo and CD25...my cycles are usually 26-27 days but can sometimes be 28 days. I'm on high alert for spotting and signs of AF. I just couldn't do it today. My temps are up/down but still above the cover line.
@LindsayInNY: I'm sorry . I really hope your RE can help get you that BFP. It's so unfair that it's been this difficult for you...I'm just sorry.
@CupQuakeWalk: sorry friend . I'm holding out hope for you until AF arrives but I totally get how you feel. That's why it chickened out... Don't want to ruin the weekend bc DH leaves for another business trip Sunday night.

@sandy: I always chicken out on that first day I'm supposed to test. I understand, my fingers are crossed for you!!
@LindsayInNY: I am so sorry I don't even know what to say except that you will be pregnant at some point, I'm sure of it!! HUGS! And drink up tonight!
@CupQuakeWalk: I'm sorry dear. Sending many hugs your way!
It's not over until AF shows! I'm still holding out hope for you all!

@bhbee: Did the procedure go smoothly? Any pain or issues with your DH doing what he needs to do? IUI is our next step after taking our break, so I'd love to hear what you thought about the actually procedure. FINGERS CROSSED FOR YOU!

@MrsMcD: I'm just catching up on posts from yesterday..."Geriatric Pregnancy"?!?! OMG! I'm rolling laughing, but also, that would really upset me too! They do really need a new term...or maybe there doesn't even need to be a special term for it. UGH!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@sarahnicole218: for me the IUIs are not bad at all. there can be some poking around to get the catheter through the cervix, they are using a speculum, so it's not super fun but no worse than a pap to me. the meds are much worse (clomid side effects) to me than the procedure itself.
for DH's part - he does a fresh sample at the clinic. but if you have concerns about that, you can also do a sample at home and bring it in, or sometimes they can let you do it early and freeze it so you know you'll have it ready on the day it's needed. we always joke about how awkward/funny it is for him to have the nurse show him into the little room full of "adult" materials . . .

@CupQuakeWalk: I'm so sorry friend.
@LindsayInNY: big hugs friend
@sandy: are you testing tomorrow?

@bhbee: hahaha. We live close to our clinic so DH will collect his sample at home. I'm glad your procedure went well!! Fx!

@LindsayInNY: @CupQuakeWalk: So sorry.
@sandy: Fx!
DH started the fertility blend for men supplements 10 days ago. He is generally pretty sensitive to any change in his body, and he says he feels "different in a good way" and his sex drive has been much higher the past few days. I am so hoping that this is the cause and it is this easily fixable.
persimmon / 1259 posts
@bhbee: Thank you for your input!! I think DH would have to do it at home and bring it in, that's how he did the SA. I love that your DH is such a trooper about it all!
@AmeliaBedilia: Fx!!!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@sarahnicole218: my old clinic we used for #1 preferred you bring it in, this one seems to prefer you do it there. works either way! really an IUI is pretty easy since the monitoring is only a couple times per cycle too. I hope IUI does the trick for you!
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
@sarahnicole218: @AmeliaBedilia: @littlek: I will test tomorrow bc I want to know before DH heads out for his business trip...there's no way I could wait until Thursday to test so I'll do it for sure tomorrow morning. I am so anxious and nervous. So far no spotting today so I'm very happy about that.
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
@CupQuakeWalk: I was thinking of you and your CD21 lab numbers. I have no idea how clomid affects those numbers but I was looking at my online lab results and your numbers are in the range of 1st trimester which is so encouraging! I'm hoping this is our month!!!

@sandy: thanks for that info! She did say I was at the top of the scale of where I could be in my luteal phase. She basically said, "it doesn't" get much higher than that." I haven't gotten a positive yet though.
I'm trying not to be hopeful, then again: I don't know my O date, so for all I know, I could've been testing too early. Or I could get AF in 2 minutes. I just don't know!
nectarine / 2358 posts
@CupQuakeWalk: Holy crap your progesterone was 25? At 7 weeks pregnant I was only at 11.9!
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
@Mrs.Panda: ooooh! Good to know. Mine was 13.3 so that gives me hope!!!
persimmon / 1259 posts
@sandy: Wow, thanks for the info! Mine was a 16.2, but this was a 100mg Clomid cycle...but I'm glad it was high! Good luck this morning!!
I am feeling less hopeful now, dip in temp today (10dpo), and the slightest pink-tinged EWCM this morning. AF is probably around the corner. But it's really OK, I get to start the Metformin and head into a couple of stress-free months with my DH. It will be good for us, and for our marriage.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@sarahnicole218: still in it till AF shows!!
I'm 7 DPO, just waiting for AF to show up so I can start my medicated cycle.
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
So I didn't test this morning. I even peed in my little cup but when I wiped I had spotting - whomp whomp . So I flushed everything and am saving my last test bc I don't want to just see a BFN. AF should be here in the next day or two
