@mtex14: Congratulations, lady!! Can you please tell me how often and when during your cycle you went to acupuncture?
cherry / 111 posts
@mrsmcd I started acupuncture in late January and was going every Saturday ( didn't matter where I was in my cycle - if I had my AF she wouldnt do some points with the needles). Then in March I started going 2xs a week always Wed and Saturday- it actually helped change my ovulation from day 18 to day 16 and I honestly think it helped and surprisingly its very relaxing !!

@mtex14: Thanks for the that info!
Does anyone watch Hannibal? The most recent episode had a weird lady killer who was an acupuncturist that gave her victims lobotomies. I still want to do acupuncture maybe next month, but I have to get that episode out of my head! Sorry to be gross!

Guess I'm "prepared" for whatever happens tomorrow...though, not really mentally prepared. I like crying every time I go to the bathroom in fear of seeing AF. Ugh! I'm so over TTC! I guess if AF does come, at least I'll be taking my TTC break for a while.

@Crystal: i was drinking regular green tea and there is caffeine in green tea but it was way better than a cup of coffee a day. I think they say green tea helps with fertility bc it has some kind of antioxidants and helps with inflammation and other things that makes your body hostile to sperm/implantation.

@sarahnicole218: I always feel funny checking out at Target with OPKs, pregnancy tests and vodka.

@MrsMcD: Lol, I TOTALLY could have added vodka to my picture! If it is the tampons I end up needing tomorrow, I think I will be having SEVERAL stiff drinks after work!

@MrsMcD: Haha. I would love to know what goes through the cashier's head when you buy all those!

@Crystal: @MrsMcD: In VA you have to go to a liquor store to buy liquor. MD is even weirder, you can't buy beer or liquor at the grocery store.

@MrsMcD: next time I will! I think I'm headed your way this weekend.

Thanks ladies. Getting the positive is feeling a little surreal today. I feel exactly like how I did with my first pregnancy extremely cautious! I'm afraid to be excited. We are going to have to face some changes to accommodate another LO in our lives but I'm okay with that. I was fearful that I would regret it for a very long time not ever getting a second child.

So ladies, still no AF, but a definite, stark white, BFN this morning. I'm kind of confused, because I always have 2-3 days of spotting before AF, but maybe Clomid helped that? It also crossed my mind that maybe I O'd later than I thought, but my CD21 progesterone check (which was actually only 5dpo) was at 16.2, so I couldn't have O'd much later than that!
So anyway, I guess you can put me down as a rollover. Fingers crossed for the rest of you!

@sarahnicole218: boo on the bfn. Clomid at the "right" dose definitely minimized my spotting. I think it's an overall good sign, that it put your hormones in a better place.

I'm 10 DPO and BFN.. so, I'm officially counting myself as a rollover.... I think everyone else is a rollover to April or testing in April.. is it okay to close this thread and move to the next?

Here's the new thread!! Congrats to the many 6 month graduates! @ShayNanigans (twins!!), @Sprite, @mtex14 and @sandy! Please feel free to still hang out with us on the new board!

This board still have a couple more days left! Congrats to @littlek: !! Are there any remaining testers for March???
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@MrsMcD: I'm testing Monday!! it's only 10dpo but I just have to get in a test per month
@littlek: thanks for checking in! house is ours as long as it passes inspection and appraisal! it's an older couple that want out now - they want to close Apr 29 so it will all move fast and I think they will be motivated to negotiate if anything shows up during those checks. so I'm very hopeful we'll have a house before we move out of Boston.
for TTC - today's 8dpiui and I'm definitely symptom spotting, but at least I'm busy so I can't think too much. it's hard to tell with the progesterone, but last two days I've had an awful taste in my mouth and today had GI issues, which both make me hopeful. but I think I have enough going on to be ok with BFN too. (I say that now, what I really mean is only one sad day then onward).

@LindsayInNY: I love Boston too, but we're moving to Dallas! it totally doesn't feel real that we're moving to TX. it feels like buying this house is just a game or something. it's a good opportunity for our family but a biiiiig change for us.
bananas / 9229 posts
@bhbee: Oh wow, that is a big change! I don't remember if you've already said this, but what's bringing you guys to TX? Work, family?
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@LindsayInNY: new job for DH. my brother does live there though, he moved there about 5 years ago. so that helps and we know a few other people there.
