@Crystal: Thinking of you, sweet girl. I hope next month is your last on the POAS boards! Fingers crossed so hard for you.

@Radish: oh yeah I mean I definitely have touched my boobs at least 20 times today even though that was not one of my first symptoms with my son lol!

@eabae: sorry honey. I hope you have something nice to indulge in to help console you.

@winniebee: Lol, I did that yesterday when I was on one of those websites that list symptoms by dpo. I was looking up another symptom to see if it was remotely possible at 3 dpo and saw a lot of boob sorenesses listed and was like hmmm, nope none of that.

@ABCmrs: I have PCOS and conceived on my third cycle of Clomid, but my first at 100mg (others were at 50mg and I didn't appear to O, but didn't have CD 21 testing). When I did the 100mg, I still didn't O until CD 23. Luckily my OB had me do CD 25 testing instead of 21. Good luck to you in getting your BFP! Side note: I had no side effects from the Clomid. Maybe the occasional hot flash but nothing beyond that. DH was all prepared for full on bitch mode!

@Crystal: I'm so sorry friend... Next cycle so you can have a Nov/Dec baby and get the holidays off!
@septca: You better get on it! Good luck to you this cycle!! Is this your "good" side?
@eabae: I'm sorry... That so sucks!
@winniebee: @Radish: I'm 6 weeks and no soreness at all. I asked the OB about it and she said she had no MS or breast soreness at all in her pregnancy and it was awesome. She was funny

UGH I am feeling so blah about TTC these past couple days. Yesterday was CD13 and we DTD and will be doing EOD until I ovulate them maybe O and O+1. It ended up being good when we got into it but the initiation was so pathetic. "So are we doing this?" "I dunno do you want to?" "Ugh I dunno do you?" That combined with my sons furious all night nursing have made me feel so out before I'm even in. Oh and my sweet well meaning sister told me that her husband said he things we just need to relax and take the pressure of BD by letting it be more random and less timed. Great. She and he aren't starting to try for their first until a few months from now so I know she just doesn't get it. I was once probably the same way but still. Yeesh! It's pretty exciting though in happier news to think we could end up pregnant at the same time. Anyway, I hope you ladies are feeling more optimistic Than I am.

@MrsMccarthy: Lol, we are awkward about it always, but it is never optional if it is around O. Relaxing would be great advice if we had any control over it... I want to relax but it just doesn't happen. I'm sorry it is a rough spot for you right now.

@Mrs.Panda: with my first child, I had ZERO morning sickness but extremely sore boobs from 5 weeks until around 3 months post partum!!! I would just be psyched to have no morning sickness agian

@MrsMccarthy: I think anyone just started TTC should have that aloofness; bc it does happen that easy to some people and no one should get all freaked out like we are lol.
I'm on CD16 so def BD EOD or every day even lol. OPK has color but I'm not sure when O will happen. I better start temping again?

@HolisticMama: Wow! What incredible steps you've taken to be ready for this TTC journey! Definitely hoping for the best for you! Good luck!

@ChiCalGoBee: You're too kind. I definitely don't feel like I have patience right now, but I guess you're right - that long cycle took some patience to get through! Perhaps patience is one of those things I'm only aware of when I'm lacking it!
A small part of me was expecting long cycles, and I knew there wasn't a whole lot for me to do, other than get in to see a doctor, which I did. And of course, I got my period while I was waiting between calling and actually getting seen! But the super long cycle paved the way for my current plan, which I'm comfortable and happy with, so I guess in that regard, I'll take it!

@Mrs.Panda: I love hearing Clomid success stories! Thank you for sharing I'm a little bit terrified of the side effects, but most of the people that I've talked to who have used it have not reported any. But I know I can get a little monstrous around AF, so I'm nervous it might be that, but amplified. Only time will tell, I guess! And thanks for sharing your experience with O'ing late in your 100mg cycle. I will keep that mind if my doctor isn't able to confirm O.

@katieleigh_82: Congrats, mama!
(and sorry to blow up the board, everyone! This is what I get for not checking in all day!)

@eabae: boo, sorry about AF. Those Ghiradelli caramel chocolates are the best though!!
@MrsMccarthy: I'm sorry you're feeling down. It's such a rough process, ands can feel so forced. You're definitely not out yet

Good news and really really crappy news for me.
Good: I got a positive OPK! (Finally, it's CD 33, but at least that's 16 days earlier than last month!)
Bad: That means I'm already out for this month because my husband lives 4 hours away and we can't BD. I briefly thought about driving up there right now and driving back before work tomorrow morning, until I realized that was totally crazy. I can't wait until I finally move in with him in two weeks!!

@Aria: so happy you got a positive OPK! And since you are starting to regulate more you will have a fresh cycle to move in with your DH with. Next cycle is yours!

Does anyone else generally feel like crap on O day? I get so bloated and tender, plus get terrible cramps and backache. I know it's all endo related, but it sucks! And is the opposite of sexy. I guess the silver lining is that I'm never confused about when I O.
Also, what are your feelings on quantity v quality when it comes to BD? Are you in the "more is better" camp or are you satisfied with 1-2 "perfect" times (like in the O-2 to O range, with EWCM and rest afterwards, etc.)?
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Aria: congrats on O! Sorry you won't have good timing. When will you see him next? You may still be able to catch the egg.
@septca: I feel okay physically on O day but I have been feeling emotionally crappy these days. In my case I'm sure it's TTC stress related. And to answer your question I think the quality is more important than quantity but studies seem to suggest that the combination of the two are where it's at so I try for at least EOD from O-3 until O+1 I wouldn't sweat it though. I got pregnant having sex on O day and that's it. In fact in my opinion O day and any days that you have a lot EWCM are optimal. Feeling VERY hopeful for you this month!
nectarine / 2079 posts
@septca: Other than CM, I have zero signs of ovulation. Obviously, I'm in the quantity over quality camp since we do everyday around O. As far as I know DH has good sperm and I'm never sure when in my cycle I will ovulate so I just try to cover all bases. Of course, if we continue to have issues I will reevaluate.

@Radish: @snowjewelz: @theotherstark: thanks for your support. I know what I'm going through is nothing new for most of us. It's just so annoying to be so consumed with something I have very little control over.

@MrsMccarthy: I'm so sorry that you are feeling down. In my experience, having to "try" to conceive takes a serious emotional toll. Especially when you are trying to balance TTC with doing what feels right for yourself/your marriage/your existing child(ren). It's just rough all around.
Also, I just realized AF is due on my birthday. Noooooo!!!
honeydew / 7295 posts
@septca: OmG! Maybe a birthday BFP though. I sure hope so. Are you ovulating out of the trusty tube this month or the iffy tube?
honeydew / 7295 posts
@snowjewelz: I thought of a couple of cute titles for the April thread if you need any ideas.

BFN for me....feeling ok about it. I guess it just wasn't meant to be right now. I think we're going to put a hold on actively TTC for now-- my mom is having some health issues and not sure the stress would be good for pregnancy. Plus, I'd really like to lose a few pounds and am hoping the time change and spring like weather will help with that. And I like the idea of a spring baby
Good luck to all the March bees out there--fingers crossed for you all!
