@littlek: haha, I figured it was a long shot! I'm just tired of BDing and want a break!!!

@Adira: I think you might have! FF is so weird sometimes. Last cycle, I didn't tweak anything and it went from crosshair to solid and back to crosshair I might still BD if you can though since the chart is not clear

@theotherstark: I'm not even sure I feel like all I do lately is have blood taken. They took 4 vials this weekend.

@Adira: did you order wondfo OPKs? I highly recommend.

    @winniebee: Good luck!

@littlek: But I don't want you to get AF for another year or so... I'm hoping your answers come soon!

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@snowjewelz: Yeah, I'm going to TRY to keep at it, but it's definitely wearing us down! Last night we did it, but it was NOT fun, haha.

@littlek: I have not yet! I was thinking I'd order them when (IF!!!) AF showed up, but maybe I should order them now.

  7. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Adira: It doesn't hurt to order them.. You can always sell them on HB classifieds

@Radish: aw thank you!! fx this is your cycle too!

@littlek: you could be pregnant! If its high soft and closed. If ya open then that's fertile.

@Adira: I'm so sorry you temp dropped. Perhaps you and your husband should just go to three times a week average until you can confirm ovulation. After you next period you can try OPKs again but I think it would be frustrating otherwise. Also you must add that B6 to your life. It could make all the difference.

  10. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

    @MrsMccarthy: It's definitely closed.

@Adira: I think until you can confirm O, I would just BD 3 times a week.

  11. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@littlek: True! Good point about HB Classifieds! I didn't think of that.

@MrsMccarthy: Thanks, girlfriend. I think it might be time I need to break out the sexy lingerie (if it even still fits me) to try to just get through this next week and PRAY that I ovulate, haha. And someone somewhere mentioned B6 can delay ovulation... do you know if that's true??

  12. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@winniebee: oooh sounds promising!!! Fingers crossed for you.

@Radish: I hope you ovulate soon. Have you guys fully weaned yet?

    nectarine / 2079 posts

    @mrs. tictactoe: Booo. Sorry

@MrsMccarthy: Thanks! I'm just hoping I can pinpoint it (but we are covering all bases just in case). I haven't nursed since 2/17 and I pumped an ounce 2 times 2 days ago because the pain was so bad. It has been rough because she started teething this week and I've been in pain. Things are getting better now, though. I really hope it helps our chances.

@Radish: good luck my dear! the engorgement is brutal. We only day weaned but i still feel so much pain from engorgement.

I am not sure how it is gonna go for us this month. Last night my son nursed about 6 times and the first session was a long 30 minute one. I am hoping to start slowly backing off on the amount he nurses at night but it has not been smooth or easy. I guess we shall see how it makes my cycles this month. Not feeling great about it.

I was gonna POAS on Feb 28th (tomorrow) but that is going to be 1 day before AF is due. I think I am going to wait until the 1st or 2nd of March so I don't have to see a BFN again. Could you add me to 3/2 as my POAS date?

    Good luck to everyone!!!

@theotherstark: @Adira: @littlek: @MrsMccarthy: Thanks ladies! It's okay, I knew I wouldn't get lucky on our first attempt on TTC# 2 anyway. Hopefully, it won't be a year long process though!

    grapefruit / 4997 posts

@FaithFertility: @littlek: yeah it showed up 4 days early! I didn't even get a chance to wonder or get my hopes up. I only test if the cycle is late, later than expected I mean. Better luck next month maybe!

    Good luck to you all!

Oh my gosh, girls, I am totally CONSUMED by TTC. I can't stop thinking about it! I can't focus on anything! All I think about are my stupid temps, what my cervix is doing, when we need to BD, when I'm going to ovulate, IF maybe I've already ovulated, blah blah blah! The only time I can focus on anything else is when I'm taking care of Xander! And then half the time I'm just thinking how badly I want to give him a sibling!!!! Gahhhhhh!!!!

@Adira: I'm pretending not to care but thinking about it a lot too.

  26. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@winniebee: it's hard not to care... honestly that's why i don't really believe there is such a thing as NTNP.. I think you are either trying or preventing...

  27. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@winniebee: haha, sometimes you just have to fake it 'til you make it!! I don't talk about TTC at home with Hubs at all, so he has no idea I'm this crazy.

My IUD is out. IUD removal and preconception visit today was super quick.

"You don't smoke, good. Immunizations are up to date, good. Can we do a routine STD screening? Ok. Are you taking a folic acid supplement? Good. Any questions? No, okay." and that was pretty much it.

Somehow I'd expected there to be more questions or more (any) emphasis on diet and exercise. My whole visit was less than 15 minutes.

Did any of you have a pre-conception visit? How was yours?

  29. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@Adira: haha same. Since we are just having unprotected sex there's not much to talk about yet

  30. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@lilyofthewest: I didn't have one since I went to the on gun every year anyhow!

  31. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@lilyofthewest: Yay, congrats!!! My pre-conception visit was with a physical and she was just all "Start taking a prenatal vitamin now and hopefully the next time I see you you'll be pregnant!" LOL - it was short!

  32. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@littlek: I considered myself NTNP when Hubs and I were having unprotected sex but we weren't timing or REALLY trying. In all 44 days of my last cycle, we only had sex THREE times. Now that we're TTC, I'm checking my cervix and we're BDing EOD! Plus I didn't feel nearly this CONSUMED by it. I was hopeful, but I wasn't really optimistic or anything. I figured the chances of it happening were slim since we weren't really doing anything to increase our chances. Now that we're actively trying and BDing all the time, it's ALL I can think about!

  33. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Adira: Once you reach 6 months all your crazy comes out... DH knows WAY tooo much about TTC... I scheduled him meeting requests for BD sessions... that's what level of crazy I am out..

  34. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@littlek: haha, I hear you. Six months was definitely a changing point for us when we were TTC for #1!

  35. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Adira: maybe it's just me personally... If I wanted to get pregnant I would be thinking about it.

  36. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@littlek: last time around this was us since it took 8 months total. I'm hoping to reign in my crazy for at least a few months this time

  37. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@littlek: Well, I was definitely THINKING about it, but not like I am now. Now it's ALL I can think about. Last cycle when we were NTNP, I could still focus on other things!

  38. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@winniebee: I reached crazy around 6 months. This is month 7... It's all out now... no going back

  39. lilyofthewest

    pear / 1697 posts

@Adira: Yeah, my OB/Gyn said she hopes she sees me soon. The thing she spent the longest time talking about was that over the counter pee sticks are the same thing they have and that if/when I get a positive result I can presume I'm actually pregnant and that I really don't need to come pee on a stick in their office to confirm. It seemed like she might go on for a while if I hadn't cut her off and reminded her that I'm a nurse in a gyn office, and I've already bought a jillionty cheap tests off Amazon.

  40. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@lilyofthewest: haha, my office is the same (though my doctor didn't tell me about that at my pre-con visit). When I called to tell them I was pregnant, I thought they'd have me in to confirm it, but they were all "Oh no, we'd just have you POAS too so if you got a positive, you're pregnant!"
