Actually, they were EX-step-siblings, and I don't think they were even step-siblings for very long, so I'd have to go back and rewatch it.

I think it's kind of weird. Technically they aren't related (by blood), but they have the same parents (biological/adopted). I don't know enough about them, but I guess it probably depends on how old they were when they became siblings. If they were raised as brother/sister, then it's weird that they fell in love. If they were a lot older when they became siblings, then that is less weird to me.

My vote would be "weird, but not wrong" I guess.

I think it's super weird because they were actually raised together as brother and sister. Clueless is different because they weren't raised together, they were step siblings not adopted siblings, and oh yeah, it wasn't real life : )

I do think it's a little weird but I don't think it's wrong. They aren't blood related. I believe in marriage equality. Hey, you can't control who you love, right?

It's a little strange, but don't think it's wrong at all. Not related by blood, not actually adopted, so I think of it more as two people who have been really close friends for most of their lives.

okay, technically, i think it's fine because they're not related. and i thought i read he wasn't actually adopted. but was "like" a son or something.

however, i voted that it was weird because people consider adoption as a legal action. people say they love and think of their own, their adopted children. so even though it's not biological, it's incest!

it's like woody allen. they adopted the daughter and then he sleeps with her? disgusting. unless people don't consider adoption a "real" process.

@tequiero21: I think Woody's "get out of jail" free card was that he never adopted Soon-Yi... only Mia did. That always felt like a technicality to me...

I think it's a little weird, but since they're not blood related, it's not icky. I thought it was weird in Clueless, too. I never understood why they didn't just make him a family friend like the book.

I think it's very weird - I thought the Clueless relationship was a little weird too, but also justified it b/c they were "ex-siblings" and supposedly never lived together.....man, I love that movie ; )

@Mrs. Jacks: Yeah, I have thought about that, too. They got engaged what a week after their mother dies. If it's real, good for them.
