Tomorrow BFF & I are having a spa day, woohoo! Massages, facials & mani/pedis! I haven't had a ton of massages & I'd guess she's probably about the same #, 4-5. But I've always gone no undies under the sheet, she does undies on.
Are you an undies on or off for massage??

I asked my massage therapist this question and she said most of her clients do undies off, so that's how I always do it now.

@tequiero21: I've had them massage my bum before, which I've wondered if you have them on how that went... Although maybe if you have them on it's like a no fly zone 
I've also had massages where they didn't massage my bum, I wonder how that gets decided!

@mrs. bird: haha have no clue. i've gotten lots of massages and they've never touched my boodie. i do always wear my undies so that's the signla that it is the "no fly zone"... =)

@mrs. bird: I've only have a professional massage once and it was off for me... I didn't get a bum massage though and I didn't even realize they did them!!
I always ask DH for bum massages because it feels SO. GOOD. I love them so much.
I also have sciatica from pregnancy so it helps a lot.

Off for sure! They are very professional about making sure you are totally covered at all times! They wouldn't be able to massage hips with undies on.

I like to leave mine on although I did take it off recently and I got way too much of a butt massage. I did wonder if it was because I took my underwear or if that is part of a prenatal massage. The therapist was a woman.

@Andrea: I was wondering that reading mr bee's comment too! Although I feel like maybe for some guys (not saying you, mr bee!) some tight fitting undies during a massage could be a good thing for helping to control/conceal any... Unintended response... I could totally see DH pitching a tent during a massage! He's like a teenager 
I should ask him if that's ever happened!

I normally always keep mine on, but when we were in Jamaica for our honeymoon we went for a couples massage and they told us to strip and get completely naked! hahahaha soo.....we did! I mean we had a sheet over us obviously ....but it was just weird! I will always keep undies on I think in the future.

Off usually, but I've done both. It's not so much a butt massage, just an extension of the outer thigh one.
When we were in Bali they gave us these weird disposable undie things, one size fits all. Maybe we are just big Americans, because they were tight on me and looked so, so ridiculous on DH that he left his boxers on instead.

On. I just would not be comfortable with them off. And I've gone to the same girl forever and she just folds the sheet under my undies' waist a little to massage my hips. I do not need or want my butt massaged!
