No desire for one at all. I would have more space for a nice shower.

In our master bathroom we have a tub and 2 showers, and then in our guest bath, we have a tub/shower combo. LO takes her baths in the guestbath, and in the past year, I’ve never used the tub. I would rather have double showers (especially upgraded ones like tile or stone, double head, oversized, etc.) than a tub.

I wouldn't buy a home without a tub, but for me, it doesn't need to be in the master bath.

I used ours a ton when I was pregnant. I've only soaked once since we moved into the house, but I think having a nice tub is worth it!

I wish we didn't have a giant master tub like the one we have. I wish we had one that has a smaller footprint but is deeper with jets. A separate shower is fine. I think I prefer the combo now after having the big tub!

I use it all the time. But I would still by the house if I loved in in every other way.

We very rarely use the tub in our master bath. I would not buy a house without a tub, but I actually prefer it in the kid's/guest bath, not in the master.

I voted 9 - 12, would buy a house w/o a master bath tub.

We have one and I'm actually considering taking it out when we do renos and installing a really nice shower.

As long as there is a tub in another bathroom, I don't need one in the master.

I don't have one and it would be nice, but as long as there is a tub elsewhere in the house (mine is in the bathroom next to the master) it's not a deal breaker.

Our house does not even have a master bathroom, lol! We realize this is terrible for resale and plan to do a master suite addition eventually assuming all goes well with my new job. The master bath will def have a soaking tub, just because i want one. As long as there is a bathroom though i don't think it makes a huge difference. People just want to be able to shower without walking down the hall.

We bought a house last summer that doesn't have a tub in the master bathroom. However we do have a really nice big double shower with multiple shower heads. I was hoping to get a nice tub in the master, but it didn't work out.

There was another house we looked at that was pretty similar to ours but overall we liked ours better. However, that house had a nice big tub in the master, but a really tiny shower. As much as it would be nice to take the occasional bath, we use the shower way way more.

We do have a tub/shower combo in the guest bath which DS uses. I think that's a necessity for a house while we have young kids. But unfortunately it's not exactly very deep so I don't see myself luxuriating in it.

I think one tub in the house can be called a necessity but certainly not a tub in a master.

My master bathroom is cramped and I dream of a bigger one often but I wouldn't want a tub in it. Why would I want to clean two tubs? If I want a bath I can go down the hall and take one.

We don't have a master bath tub, and it's fine for us. We do have one down the hall for the kids, and I have no problem taking a bath in there. I want *a* bath tub, but it doesn't HAVE to be in the master bath. Plus, most homes that are 30 years old are built with smaller bathrooms in general. No big suites or anything, so it's not going to happen in our neighborhood, anyways! I would *love* a big soaker tub, if we're talking luxury, though

I use mine ALL the time and while it wouldn't be a deal breaker on the perfect house (we would just reno and add one in if everything else was perfect), if the house was just "ok" or if it was competing with others, it would matter to me. We bought our current house new and I designed the bathroom around the tub.

Our last rental had a wonderfully spacious tub and I loved it and used it constantly - it was particularly helpful while pregnant and postpartum.

We moved shortly after J was born and our apartment doesn't have a big tub (standard size - I don't fit) and I hate it. I miss having a bathtub so badly.

I didn't vote because we don't own a home. But I probably wouldn't want to buy a house without one. I would consider it as long as I knew I could add one.

We gutted 2/3 bathrooms last year. We took out the tub in the "master" since we don't use the bath and 1910 homes are short on space. A walk in shower has been awesome. On the main we put in a 48" clawfoot, so really just something for kids. The basement bathroom is rarely used and is just a shower. No regrets.
