I usually wear strapless bra then one of those tube top things over the bra if the dress is really low cut.

I don't own a maxi dress so I voted marshmallows! They are usually wayyyyyy too long for me.

I only wear maxi dresses with straps wide enough to cover my bra straps.

I either wear a strapless bra or I wear maxi dresses that cover my bra straps. You can look into getting a convertible bra so you can change the configuration and maybe cross the straps in the back for those maxis that are racerback.

I go braless (if there is one built in . . . gravity--and breastfeeding--have been kind to me), or come up with a way to camouflage straps (I wish the strap showing *trend* would just die!).

Has anyone tried one of the NuBras? Yanno, the sticky silicone pieces that join in front . . . they are backless/strapless (and would prevent show-through).

@MsLipGloss: I have a pair, but my post breast feeding boobies need more lift.

@MsLipGloss: I had a Nu Bra, but I think it was more for 20 year old boobs than 30+ year old boobs. The thought of wearing one now, while pregnant, is laughable. There was a teeny bit of lift, but mostly just a bit of shaping and coverage. Even in my early 20s, I didn't think it was that comfortable and would only wear it on special occasions, like for a wedding, not for going around all day running errands.

@MsLipGloss: I should add that I was about a B cup in my early 20s, C now (well, pre preg but post 30).

@Foodnerd81: Ahhhhh, right then. I am/was a small(ish) D (32 D pp, 32DD now) . . . so, I guess that answers that!

@2PeasinaPod: I only have one non maternity one and its got thicker straps so its no issue. Here's the cute one I just got at Old Navy at almost 11 weeks- I was barely showing and it still fit great so I bet you could buy them when not knocked up.

I put a tank top under them.

before pregnancy/LO i went braless, but today i wore a maxi dress with a coobie bra. the coobie bra kinda looks like a camisole on top, so i *hope* nobody was the wiser. i know, i should be embarrassed of myself.

I was a 36DD pre pregnancy and so I can't go braless!! I wear a strapless bra with strapless dresses - one of the Gossard Wonderbra ones with the little plastic hands in. I don't find them uncomfortable in pregnancy as long as they are the right size. If the maxi is a halterneck, I wear a halterneck bra. If it has straps I wear my regular bra.

Strapless with a tanktop or tubetop underneath for extra protection!

@edelweiss: They aren't the most supportive, but they are so comfortable. My ribs are expanding with pregnancy so I like the stretch, but I wouldn't run in the them.
