@Emsmems: At least you got one shot in! I'm supposed to go to a shower tomorrow and I am skipping.
We are DTD this weekend as I should O sometime this weekend. I'm glad it fell on a weekend this time. Sometimes its just too much during the week
@SweetMamaM: oh, POAS buddy! I'm trying acupuncture this month too. How is yours going?
eggplant / 11408 posts
@MrsH: looks like my date will be around May 7. We got a few chances in, though we were trying not to feel too much pressure. Let the games (and the nerves!) begin...

@MrsH: I'm unsure about it, it feels like the chiropractor is actually doing more to help. My hormone levels were completely normal when I last did my blood tests so I'm pretty certain that stress has been the real issue, combined with the inflammation from my pelvic sprain.

Current Cycle Day: CD 11
Ovulation Date: CD14, so May 1
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: may 13
Cycles trying: this is our 4th
BD timing: was trying for EOD for the whole cycle, but due to life, it looks like it'll be every day during the fertile period...
Anything different this month: I starting temping vaginally, working out at the gym 4 times a week, and DH has sworn off boxers and going commando to help do his part! Haha, we will see if that helps any!
And because it is May, favorite flower: tulips!
Hoping to just forget about the ttc this month, BD every day during the fertile window, OPK to confirm and then keep busy at the gym and in the garden! I should POSS a week before by bday, so either way I will know whether I can have a few birthday beers or not!

Current Cycle Day: CD9
Ovulation Date: May 4
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: May 19
Cycles trying: 4
BD timing: probably EOD
Anything different this month: I'm thinking about not temping and not stressing about anything. When AF arrived I got really sad... I know we're not trying for a long time, and I know in my family it usually takes years.... but still.... it makes me sad
And because it is May, favorite flower: lilies

oh whoops, looks like I got left off the roll call I don't know exactly when/if I o'd since this was my first cycle off bcp, but I'm on CD 20 now; I think I'll POAS on May 3rd since it'll be CD 25 and I'm supposed to have drinks/dinner with my bff that night. It might be too early but I'll be anxious drinking if I don't test!

@lil owl: same feelings as you last month. I feel ya! Good luck this month!

Well I'm in the TWW, woohoo?!?! Argh, I'm going to try my best not to symptom spot this month since I about made myself cry last month.

@MrsH: Yaaaay!!! I'm in that annoying part of the cycle pre-O. It's just waiting for a positive OPK, lots of BDing...

Currently on CD5 - AF came a bit late than normal. Trying not to focus on my disappointment of last month. Trying not to OPK but if I do it'll be after CD12. Got a gym membership which starts on Friday, so hopefully that will shift my focus this month. 1 girl coming back from Mat Leave next week, 1 girl getting induced this week and 1 leaving for mat leave soon, so I'm surrounded.

@MrsH: no worries!
I'm feeling completely awful today--body aches so bad I can barely move, I'm exhausted, and I have a low grade fever. I'm sure it's just a coincidence bc it seems too early to test (I think?)--I'm only on CD 21 and don't know when/if I o'd. but ugh, I feel horrible, and I'm afraid to take ibuprofen in case I am pregnant...
eggplant / 11408 posts
@MrsH: Yay! Hope you're not going crazy. I'm right there with you, and I am trying my best not to spot either. Though, the random acne all over my body is giving me pause...but who knows? Could just be stress. To make myself sane, I'm calling it that
@nana87: I'm sorry you're feeling gross Any chance Tylenol will help? I'm usually in the camp that Tylenol is about as useful as sugar pills, but the extra strength stuff isn't too bad. Feel better soon!
@LindsayInNYC: sounds fun
@babycanuck: oh man, you are surrounded! How's the new gym?
@MrsKoala: Thanks! Baby dust to you, too!

Current Cycle Day: CD 34
Ovulation Date: ????? Maybe CD35-37?
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: My last two cycles were 41 and 51 days, and this one is looking long too.
Cycles trying: This is our first cycle officially trying.
BD timing: Since we are having major trouble pin pointing my O (if I am even going to O) my DH and I are making sure to have sex at least every second day.
And because it is May, favorite flower: Daisies!
A few extra details: I am a rollover from the April POAS thread because I have not yet gotten my period and even though I thought I O'd on CD19, FF is now telling me that I did not. My temps seem way all over the place. I will be starting OPKs again tonight.
My chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/pui

@pui: sorry your cycles are so confusing! I'm no charging expert, but I don't see any temp shifts. I hope O comes along soon!
bananas / 9899 posts
@futuremama: FF originally gave me crosshairs, but then took them away lol. I agree, I don't see any sustained temp rise at all... they just look erratic. Hopefully when/if I do O it will be obvious!
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
According to FF I should O either tomorrow or later this week. Unfortunately I am going to be away from DH Friday - Tuesday so I don't know if this is going to be a good month for us. We will still just wait and see and try to have fun when we feel like it and see what plans are meant for us.
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@pui: the same thing happened to me in march. I was sure I O'd on CD19, (+opk and all the other symptoms), but AF didn't come. I finally got AF around cd45. It was so frustrating! I didnt O that cycle. But the good news is it normalized the following month and I got pregnant. Hope you have the same luck
cantaloupe / 6171 posts
@LovelyPlum: oooh I didn''t realize tylenol was okay! I thought all pain relievers were bad news. I'll have to send dh out to get some...
eggplant / 11408 posts
@nana87: yep, Tylenol is OK...it's the other ones that aren't. Yes, you should definitely make him go get you some

Good luck everyone! I think I'll join the board again during my next cycle which will start in late June. Can't wait!

I just got a positive opk, yay! A couple days earlier than I was thinking I would. I think ill happily move my POAS date to May 14th! I don't want to do May 13 because I work 7a-7p that day.
12dpo would be may 12th- Mother's Day. I feel like that would be neat, but maybe only if it was positive! Is that too early to test anyways? Just thinking out loud...Im open to any thoughts or suggestions!
persimmon / 1331 posts
@pinkpeony921: nice! Yay for positive opks! (I'm a poet! Haha). I was thinking about the BFP on/right before Mother's Day too... Would be neat but I'm not counting on it! 12 dpo Might be too early but might not be, either. Everybody's different! What help I am! Haha!
I am impatiently two week waiting... I am anxious about this month for some reason!
olive / 58 posts
Haha! I know, just something about that day! I think ill do my best to hold out to May 14. (That is if AF doesnt come before) Ill have more mothers days to celebrate, I hope
Best of luck with your tww...I totally understand how anxious it can make you! Last month I just tried to keep busy and do things for myself. I am sure I'm preaching to the choir here, ha! Fingers crossed for you!!
persimmon / 1331 posts
@pinkpeony921: thanks! Hoping you get your BFP, even if it is right after Mother's Day!
eggplant / 11408 posts
@pinkpeony921: yay for positive! Good luck, lady!
@Emsmems: I totally here you about being anxious. I'm a little nuts this week, too...can it be next Tuesday already?!?!

This is fun! We've been NTNP for 10 months now (since my daughter was 9 months old), but I'm still breastfeeding, and my cycles just now seem to have regulated. Two 28 day cycles in a row now.
Current Cycle Day: CD27
Ovulation Date: No idea
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Going to see if I get my period tomorrow. Of course I just used my last WONDFO test recently so I don't even have any around.
Cycles trying: NTNP for 10 months.
BD timing: a few times before midcycle, once at CD14, and then nothing since (two crappy weeks of illness and bad sleep)
Anything different this month: Maybe my cycles have normalized?
And because it is May, favorite flower: Tulips.
I'm really only getting my hopes up because I'm having the same symptom that I had the last time - drastically increased need to pee. Combine that with two 28 day cycles in a row, and here I am all excited. I needed 4 rounds of clomid last time, so it would be so nice to skip it this time.

Yesterday's OPK was negative but very nearly a positive... maybe I'll see a + today!
persimmon / 1116 posts
Hello ladies!!
I am going to join in, even though I probably wont POAS until June 2 because my cycles are longer than 30 days usually.
Current CD: 1 (Possibly 2?)
Ovulation Day: May 19-20th I think!
Cycle Length: 31-34 Days
Cycles Trying: 2
BD Timing: ED, several days before and after O
Anything Different: Might start Temping, and using Soft Cups
Favorite Flower: Tulips and Garden Roses!
Last time we just used OPK. What is the draw of also temping? Other than figuring out your body more. Does temping help better predict O?
persimmon / 1116 posts
@mrsh @lovelyplum I have a saying, "Everything is everything." Every symptom is a sign of everything. You could be pregnant, or you could have slept weird. You could be pregnant, or it could be a rare disease. Everything is everything!
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@pui: base on CM I thought I would have a positive OpK but mine was pretty white. :(. Hope you O soon.
clementine / 854 posts
@citymouse: temping won't help you predict O, but it confirms that you did O and when.
pear / 1974 posts
@pui: waiting to O is possibly the worst kind of wait - honestly for people with irregular cycles, waiting to O is SO much worse than the TWW! I hope you get your + today!
bananas / 9899 posts
Got a positive OPK! I hope this is the real deal this time. I had some slight pain on my lower left side, so I really hope I actually released an egg this time.
