@citymouse: I think that's true! DH keeps saying, "well, everything is a pregnancy symptom, including spontaneous combustion," lol. He's definitely right there with you. My body keeps getting in the way of my resolve not to symptom spot, lol. But I re-committed this morning to not read too much into things. Otherwise, I'll go crazy!!

I'm a little worried that my chart has nowhere to rise... Isn't 37.5 degrees Celsius considered a fever lol??

@pui: do you temp vaginally or orally? I know vaginal temps tend to be higher?

@citymouse: My temps are all over the place lol. Last night I was up literally the whole night with my dog (poor pup :(), but my temp seemed relatively normal anyway. I have no idea what is going on with my temps lol.

@pui: I hope things level out for you soon! maybe try temping vaginally next cycle, I just started this cycle and things are waaaay more stable, according to DH, i often sleep with my mouth open - probably made things wonky! but my chart is muc more stable now.

Ok, I have a question, an OPK predicts a spike in LH, signalling O, correct? So when you have a positive OPK, O should be soon? I had three days of positive OPKs, but FF marked O as the first day of positive OPKs. Do you think this is correct? any thoughts? When does FF mark your O in relation to your positive OPKs?

  12. Mrs.Someone

    pomelo / 5228 posts

@Mrsk: I've found that FF doesn't always take OPKs into account when deciding O. You can't have an LH surge (ie, positive OPK) after O, so its definitely wrong. I'd day you O'd on CD14 based on that nice temp jump. You can manually change dates in FF if you want to.

  13. pui

    bananas / 9899 posts

Another + OPK for me! I hope this is my real O!

  14. pui

    bananas / 9899 posts

@Mrsk: Your chart looks great! Nice BD timing! If I were you, I'd wait and see what the temps look like the next few days. Then it should be clearer when you O'd exactly.

  15. Mrs. J

    pomelo / 5132 posts

@Mrs.Someone: @Mrsk: a positive opk indicates an LH surge, which doesn't necessarily indicate O. Only temping can confirm that, and O doesn't occur the day of the jump. The jump happens after O. Based on your temps, it looks correct that you O'ed on cd 12, but I would keep temping to be sure.

@Mrs.Someone: @ mrs. J: thanks for the advice! I'm going those how my temp goes in the next few days, and will still plan to poas on the 13th which will be roughly dpo 14 ish depending on when / If exactly I o'd.

@pui: thanks, honestly I don't think we would have been able to keep up all that bding without using pre-seed, that lube is A-mazing! Expensive but well worth it, usually after a few days of bding in a row I'm pretty sore, but not with pre-seed! We are only planning to use it during the fertile window seeing as its kinda pricy.

    Anyone else use pre-seed?

    apricot / 287 posts

@pui: oh and glad you got some positive opks! How often and when are you testing?

  18. pui

    bananas / 9899 posts

@Mrsk: I started testing CD11. I got my first + on CD18, then a negative. FF put my crosshairs on CD19 so I thought I O'd. However, I did not see a sustained temp rise, so FF took away my crosshairs. After I tested for pregnancy on "13DPO" and got a negative, I was pretty sure by my chart that I had not O'd. So on CD34 I started OPKs again. I got a positive yesterday and today (CD35 and CD36). I test at 5pm-6pm, when I get home from work.

@pui: glad you are getting a +opk! I hope you O! Good luck!

@Mrsk: I have debated getting pre-seed but haven't decided to bite the bullet and buy it yet. Maybe I will if I don't get a BFP this month...

Lots of + opk's! I hope some of these turn into BfPs this month.

Our bd-ing begins this weekend. I'll probably o on weds or thurs. got my saline u/s yesterday, and everything looks good (as expected). The timing would actually be pretty bad for DH and me if I did get preg this month (or in the next few months). We might be moving and looking for new jobs. We are just too impatient to put it off any longer. Hopefully everything will figure itself out!

  23. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@Mrsk: I used it once - but I get pretty a significant amount (sorry for TMI) of EWCM around O time so I don't need it, but I figured it couldn't hurt!

so I decided not to POAS this morning after all...I took a test on Tuesday (BFN )because I got impatient and because I was feeling really, very crummy (fatigue, body aches, low fever, head ache, coupled with nausea) which I was hoping was an early pregnancy symptom. but it was too early of course so it was just really disappointing! I'm trying to hold out again a little more-- I'm on CD 25 now, I think I'll test on Sunday when I'm CD 27. I was going to test today bc I'm having dinner with my bff, but we're just going to her place so it'll be easier to mask not drinking, she won't be watching me as closely as if we were at a restaurant ordering drinks. But Sunday we're meeting with my dad who will absolutely notice if I don't drink wine so I think that's a better day to test!

@nana87: I'm sorry that you're not feeling well, and for your BFN. How many DPO are you? Hope you get good news soon. Remember-you're not out until AF shows!

Sitting pretty here at 8 DPO, and I'll admit, I'm going a bit crazy. I'm resisting the urge to test early, because last time, I didn't get my BFP until the day after AF would have shown up. But it's hard, because my body is being completely wacky. Gaaaaahhhh....my new-found resolve not to symptom spot is being tested!!

Going to start charting tomorrow! I got my BBT Thermometer and Fertility Friend and hopefully I can figure it out! Haha! I also got Soft Cups and Pre-seed for BDing in a couple weeks. Not sure how to share the link to FF? Wish me luck with temping!!

@pui FX for you!! hoping this is it!!

  33. Emsmems

@LovelyPlum: I completely understand your anxiousness! I am 6dpo and I am symptom spotting like crazy. I tell myself to stop being so crazy and that it may not have even implanted even if it happened this month, but I can't stop. Ugh, I'm trying to stay busy but as soon as I sit and relax I think "that kinda feels like a cramp. Am I crampy? Or am I gassy?" Arg!

  34. pui

    bananas / 9899 posts

Well my temp is still even, but I haven't really gotten good sleep for the past few days because my dog is sick and up all night. Last night I must have slept like 3 hours total intermittently. Today we say goodbye to Findley... so I'm also obviously a bit stressed. I still hope I get a good night's sleep tonight and I see a temp rise.

@lovelyplum: you can do it!! Just think, less than one week to go!

I dreamed last night that I got 3 positive pregnancy tests! Such a vivid dream. I can't wait until it's reality! Good ol tww. Hope everyone is hanging in there!

@LovelyPlum: I don't know exactly how many dpo I am, I didn't want to chart or do opk's bc I thought it would make me too anxious, but I think not knowing has actually been worse for me!

    @citymouse: thanks!!

@pui: I'm so sorry about your dog

  37. LovelyPlum

    eggplant / 11408 posts

@citymouse: @Emsmems: @pinkpeony921: thanks, ladies! I've been trying to keep occupied. Went for a run this morning, but I had to stop early, because I got some low, weird cramps. It's happened before, so we'll see.

I think I'll still test Tuesday. AF would be due Thursday or Friday, so I know it's a bit early, but if I remember, I might do it then. Otherwise, I'll probably just wait until Thursday.

    @pui: Thinking of you today.

@pinkpeony921: gah! what a dream! Hoping it comes true for you soon

@nana87: the not knowing is definitely worse for me! Though I can understand just wanting to let it be. Either way, I hope for good news for you soon!

Hey peeps. Just catching up on all of your news. I'm on CD10 and I haven't done any charting (yay!). I hope that I've calmed my brain down enough not to jinx myself this month. Baby dust to all!

@babycanuck: I'm the same, chilled out this month and actually think I o'd. Between four-seven days before I find out whether that's the case

BFN this morning. still could be too early (CD 27, don't know dpo), I guess, but I'm pretty sure this wasn't our month.
