    @lovelyplum exciting!! fx for bfp!!

    @pui Im so sorry!! I dont know much about charting but what @chibee said makes sense, after looking at your chart. Like your body is trying to ovulate, but failing?

    @pui: please please call your doctor. I'm 28, healthy, normal weight and I just wasn't ovulating. My body would try 2-3 times a cycle and fail.

    Hi all haven't posted much on here. Wasn't feeling to hopeful this month, but after 15 cycles of trying and two rounds of Clomid I got a faint positive yesterday morning and confirmed with a digital this morning. I am cautiously optimistic that this is a sticky baby,but after trying for a while I'm still a little skeptical. Probably wont feel real until I hear the heart beat. good luck to all of you this month:) First month I have played along and I get a BFP! I should have been posting on here all along:)

    @pui: I'm sorry your chart is being stupid. It does look like you keep gearing up to ovulate and it doesn't happen. I'd say talk to the doctor. Worst case, they will tell you to keep trying (annoying, I know). And remember, there is still hope - you can get a BFP on a long cycle.

    Sorry I haven't been around much! Tried to do consistent opks this cycle, but I always end up forgetting to during the time window that I am doing them in or I've been working late a lot this time so I'm not home. But! Dh and I have been BDing consistently EOD since cycle day 9, so I'm hoping that I can catch O in there somewhere. We have never had sex this much before! Haha. I'll probably poas on mother's day because it's the earliest I probably could and we will be visiting family.

    I am feeling very sorry for myself today. I never expected TTC to be easy. I expected I would try for the average 3-8 cycles, maybe up to a year, time BD well but still not get pregnant... you know, the normal type of TTC struggles. I never expected this. I didn't expect that I wouldn't be ovulating at all.

    I'm feeling so alone. Because I have only been NTNP for 2 cycles and officially TTC for just one (4 and a half months because of my long cycles), I don't fit in with those who have struggled long-term with infertility. Yet, I also feel isolated from those of you who are actually ovulating, because at least you have a chance...

    I'm going to call my doctor and in the meantime I'm changing my diet and getting in some exercise to lose the extra 15lbs incase that helps... I feel like I'm just starting a long, gruelling journey. I'm scared, frustrated and hopeless.

    /end rant.

    On a positive note, as aggravating as it has been, it's a good thing I charted this cycle. I'd have no idea what was going on if I hadn't been temping.

    @iluvpink: ((hugs)) Sorry =/

    @pui: Easier said than done, I'm sure, but don't beat yourself up so much! Yes, it's definitely frustrating and discouraging but be glad you caught whatever is going on now and not a year from now! I went off BC 5 months ago, almost to the day, but am only in the middle of my 4th cycle. Although we've technically been TTC this whole time, we're only been "accurate" one cycle. So I'm with ya in some ways... Glad for the positive note at the end though!! xo

    @pui: It's not over yet, you may yet ovulate. hope she doesn't mind, but @mrs squirreld got pregnant on a crazy long cycle, this is her chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3f9297/ once again, i hope you don't mind that i posted this @mrs squirreld! even if this isn't your BFP cycle, it doesn't mean you will definitely NOT ovulate. Also, if you're just totally over this cycle, call your doctor to have her prescribe provera, and induce your period! i think most doctor will do this for you. my doctor said she'd even do it for me at day 35! also, even though my charts showed that i was ovulating, i really didn't believe that until a blood test confirmed it 8 cycles into charting. I can commiserate with you for sure, I try to lead a healthy, active life and have done everything I could to get ready for TTC and I never expected it to take this long, and it is so frustrating and depressing sometimes, but please know you're not alone in the journey! I don't have many friends in real life I can complain about this to, so this is a great place to come and vent. I'm so sorry this cycle is such a bitch.

    @pui: Not ovulating makes your journey harder, I know it does. I am sorry this is happening, but hopefully when you go to your doctor she can give you some solution for this journey. Chin up, lady! I know its hard. Even though I ovulate every cycle like a clock and BD is timed like crazy, I still don't get my BFP, so I know its painful. *HUGS*

    I think we can all agree that TTC sucks.

    @chibee: Thanks for sharing that. I hope Mrs. Squirreld doesn't mind! That does give me a small glimmer of hope...

    @LindsayInNYC: Long cycles are frustrating. Looks like yours are starting to even out after BCP though!

    @iluvpink: GL for cycle #9. Hang in there.

    I know I'm only 3dpo, but usually I start symptom spotting right away (and there's been so much to spot) But nothing this time. Absolutely nothing. Not even a headache or tiredness or anything. I don't like this. I want something to keep me hopeful. Pui, you're right ttc sucks

    @pui: hope you get some answers soon. My dr keeps telling me all my labs look good, my hoo ha looks good, & it looks like I'm ovulating... so after 15 cycles why am I not PG!? So annoying! Our struggle is unique because DH struggles from chronic pain which lessens our chances. Not *technically* infertile (that we know of) but it does effect chances. No need for labels here. Your struggling & we all have been there to some degree. You are never alone on HB.

    @mrs. 64: @Mrsk: @citymouse: @Grace: thanks ladies!

    So, I did make it to the drug store today, but I'm not actually sure that helped much. I grabbed the First Response tests, but not the early results ones. But, I figured I'd try anyways, even though they say you can't use them until the first day of your missed period, which would be Thursday/Friday. What do you know, another squinter. Pink dye this time, and we let it sit, but I think it's there. I *think* I'm excited, but I'm also really bummed that I grabbed the wrong darn things. I'm also a little emotional because my best friend miscarried yesterday, which just completely sucks and is throwing my emotions like crazy. Waiting until Thursday to try again (I hope). Guess we'll see what happens...

    @iluvpink: sorry lady. Hoping cycle 9 is your lucky one!

    @pui: & @LovelyPlum: Thank you, ladies!
    @futuremama: Yes, my cycles are regular. I chart. I went to my doctor a couple months ago and had two blood works, one of them was to confirm ovulation and progesterone and one was to confirm fertility. I passed both with flying colors. I also had and HSG three months ago and a pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound and again I passed those too. My DH is having his SA done this weekend, but after trying for so long we are going to make an appointment with the RE some time in June and explore our options. At this point, since so far we are both healthy, we just don't understand why cant we get pregnant. It is just so hard to know that we are doing everything right (or at least I like to think we are) and still no BFP *sight* Thank you for asking, lady

    Been looking at a bunch of charts on FF that are long with late ovulation that still resulted in pregnancy. Some even have the same +OPKs and other signs of O with no temp rise, like I have. It's really helping me stay in good spirits. Who knows, maybe I'll be one of the lucky ones like these ladies were.

  34. lilteacherbee

    @pui: I'm just thread stalking, but I thought I'd give you some hope. I have reallyyyyy long cycles and I've gotten pregnant twice (first ended in m/c). Both times I ovulated between cd 31-34. I actually had an appointment with my doctor to discuss clomid and I got my most recent BFP 2 days before the appointment (I'm now 12 weeks :)). I would have almost positive OPKs and then they'd go negative again multiple times in one cycle. I know how frustrating it is and I would definitely recommended talking to your doctor about it, but it is possible to conceive with crazy cycles and late ovulation

    @lilteacherbee: Thank you for the reassurance and congrats on your pregnancy!

    I'm on CD42 and counting... I got 2 positive OPKs 5 days ago, but saw no temp rise... again. :\ I really hope I see signs of O soon.

    another bfn...I really shouldn't have started testing so early but at this point I'm pretty pessimistic--today was cd30 and I thought AF would arrive today so I got my hopes up a little that it was late, when really I have no idea what's normal for me since this was the first cycle off bcp...

    Whelp, I guess it's official. I used my last cheapie First Response test, the ones that aren't supposed to be able to give you an answer until you're late. AF isn't due until Friday, but there was definitely a line this afternoon! Came up pretty quick, too

    I am freaking out a little...I definitely *don't * want a repeat of last month. But the doc is going to check progesterone tomorrow and gave me supplements in the meantime, because my Monday numbers were a little low. So for now, I guess I'm pregnant!
