So I bought DH "fertility blend for men." He started taking it on Friday and that night developed a fever and like tonsillitis or something. He TOTALLY blames it on the fertility blend. For the love of God! Vitamins don't cause fevers!!!

@MrsMcD: I am Chinese... these things are a strangely big deal to me... honestly though Ram/Sheep is not bad. I was more worried about Snake (I hate snakes and snake year... but DH is a snake so I keep it to myself... but he knows my dislike for snakes... hence not starting till we are at least a month into Horse area aka why I'm in cycle 10/11 months now. Haha.)
As the article said ... it sort of doesn't matter what year you are born... your day, month and time are actually more important in feng shi but most commoners (aka me) only really know about the year. Me and DH are 6 years apart which normally is terrible but I went to a feng shi master to get our birthdate match done and that turned out really really well so I decided to go through with the relationship / marriage. AKA I thought our match was so bad I was actually going to break up with him even though I did really like him a lot. I'm terrible!
Also DS was born in dragon year... he came really quickly... DS almost didn't make it to dragon year but we were lucky he stayed in there. Hehe.
If only I can have my horse baby I would be very happy but I think I will be happy with a little ram / sheep too. Hehe.

@MrsMcD: Also most of my life I usually ask people what sign they are... or even guess their sign basic on their personality because yes I'm really that into it. I'm right about 90% of the time.
People seem to match their signs pretty well. Still it doesn't mean people can't rise above a bad sign of course ... for Chinese we just want them to have a good start.

@Raindrop: This is all so fascinating!! Oh, you have a dragon baby! I read that dragon year is the most favorite year. Can you imagine having a dragon baby and a horse baby? I'd die of happiness. (As an aside.... I'm newly obsessed with Game of Thrones and am just about to finish watching the first season. I love Daenerys and she claims to be of dragon blood.) I think its awesome and crazy that you had your birth date checked against your DH's birth date. I don't like snakes either. Would your DH be upset if he knew how much you don't like snakes?

@MrsMcD: Oh DH totally knows how much I dislike snakes! Haha.
I do try to keep it on the down low when I am taking around him about snakes because he gives me a dirty look. A lot of time we talk about friends or people we just meet and I would talk about their sign (because that's what I do!) and when we meet a snake I don't talk about it much because I normally only have bad things to say. Again my dislike for snakes is because it works worst with my sign... aka our personalities naturally clash. I'm sure snakes to other people are just fine.
DH is a great match for me... He was actually born in March and was late so he is almost a dragon if he was born on time or early. Also he skipped a year in school so all his close friends are actually Dragons or Rabbits. He is the only snake I have to deal with.

Here is a compatibility chart. 10 = perfect and 2 = terrible.
I'm a Pig and DH is of course a snake... so we are a 4.. in this chart.
This chart actually works for friendships too. If you think about your friends normally your close friends will have high scores.
I will say that you can't completely relay on the numbers this is just very simple.... your birthday and especially birth time is important. Also your element comes in to play also. Complex I know!

@MrsMcD: This is silly but the feng shi master said that having a dragon baby for us would only strengthen our relationship because since dragon is high compatibility with both snake and pig, even though our birth dates are great we will still run into conflicts and the dragon will balance our family.
