@AmeliaBedilia: your chart looks great! Don't give up yet. I say stick with progesterone a couple more days. Then test. You're not out yet!

Oh Jeez. I just realized I jumped right into posting here without really joining up with the group! I realized this is my sixth cycle TTC and you all are a great group to be a part of!
So...
Cycle 6
1st Baby
Turning 40 soon (eek) - it's a long story as to why I'm TTC at such a ripe old age. Summary: first round of TTC was 10yrs ago, fertility problems on DH's side so he opted out of any possibility of children, even adopting, I eventually left the marriage, took 7yrs to find my real true love, and now I'm back here again with new hope and every finger crossed!!
Taking some control of TTC, but also sharing it with a great Naturopath. Temping, OPKs, acupuncture, supplements, and blind faith this cycle!
Good luck to all of us!

@AmeliaBedilia: I'd wait a few extra days too! My doc told me to do a solid 14 days of progesterone then if it's negative on 14DPO stop. (it's my first month taking it though, so I'm not sure what to expect)
If it were me, I'd rather take the progesterone a couple extra days than run the risk of stopping too early.
@Crystal: do you have enough OPKs to keep using them? When I was first using them I would get a surge around CD13 (line about half as dark as the control) and thought that was my positive. But my temps weren't rising right away, so the next month I kept using them every day and eventually got a blaring positive at CD18.

After two short weeks on the December due date thread, I'm back over here.
Cycle #: 7
POAS date: No idea, post-miscarriage, but if I ovulate as though this were a normal cycle, it would be 5/13 or so.

@PawPrints: oh honey I am so so sorry I hear about your loss. Big hugs.

@PawPrints:
Update on me: Definite AF, definite negative tests starting Saturday, definite CP. I am really doing okay though. Like I said before, I won't POAS this month, but I will be here, cheering all of you on. *\o/*
Interesting note - I *highly* recommend the Sure Predict cheapies. After months of getting weird results on Wondfos, the SPs are definitive (no evaps) and VERY sensitive. They picked up my pregnancy at 8 DPO and continued to pick up my declining HCG until an hour before AF showed.

@septca: So many hugs. Thank you for always sharing your tips and being such a great support for everyone in the group.

Holy crap, I just looked up pre-seed for the first time - I had NO idea that stuff is so expensive! Why does it cost so much?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@PawPrints: I really don't know. It used to be much cheaper. But it does last for a really long time.
pomegranate / 3658 posts
@septca: Looks like I can get a smallish thing of it for $20. I guess it's worth it since many people have success with it, right? http://www.amazon.com/Pre-Seed-feriility-friendly/dp/B007A4NCLS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

@PawPrints: I got KU using it (and soft cups) twice. DH says I have no way of knowing whether that helped, but I say it can't hurt...

*catching up* Really busy at work on Friday and my weekends are usually cra cra.
@PawPrints: So sorry to hear! We use preseed now but we have never gotten KU off of it.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@charmed: Oh no! Why delete yourself from the list?
@PawPrints: Maybe because its magic?
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@PawPrints: I'm so sorry for your loss. ((Hugs)). We've been using preseed for 5 months with no success. We used conceive plus this cycle, and hopefully we are lucky. I like that it is in pre filled applicators but it's more sticky than preseed. Its supposed to actually help the sperm live longer, whereas preseed helps them get to where they're going. Marketing scheme? Likely, but I'm pulling for whatever I can get.

@dc yoga bee: I have a box and half of preseed and I totally just bought what you linked to. When I read the reviews conceive plus all the top reviews where "This works, first time trying this after TTCing for one year and got KUed" where as preseed top reviews were "trying for a while... still not KU, don't know if this works", "Got KU the first month using this but don't think it was because of this"
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Raindrop: Girl if I get KU our first time using it I'll write a review too!! I'm so nervous bc I* think* we had really good timing this month (o-4, o-1, o, and o+1) and we used the miracle conceive plus lol. I just want to see a bfp!
ETA: I like that it supposedly provides the sperm nutrients. Maybe DH sperm gets hungry and I have a hostile environment!

My temp went up a little today. I haven't retested since my BFN yesterday. I feel slightly off, but not as much as other cycles that I convinced myself that I was pregnant. This is my first month on progesterone. I lean toward it's a BFN, but wouldn't my temp be going down at CD13, even with the progesterone? My thinking is that in the first 10 days, it will be high because my own progesterone plus supplements, but if it is a BFN, then it should only be the supplement now. Am I crazy? I have one good test left, and want to use it as my "last chance this cycle" before I stop progesterone.

@dc yoga bee: let us know how it works! How long do you inject it before bd?
@PawPrints: I am so so sorry for your loss. FX your stay is short.
@MrsMcD: I hate that we all have to be here, but I do love the support of having so many women participate!
@AmeliaBedilia: how long is your LP normally? Can you test in the AM? 14DPO should give an accurate estimate... I don't have any experience with P, so sorry I can't help.
FF is still giving me crosshairs for CD15. I'm hoping I see a temp spike in the next few days so it will show I Od later.
