@AmeliaBedilia: GL! I think as long as you stay above your cover line you are still in the game.
@Crystal: Are you still doing opk? If so did you get any lines yet?
Temping question in general. Is it okay to not temp everyday? I have been temping and I kind of skip a day on weekends (sleeping in!) I was wondering if I should really make more of an effort to temp everyday.

@Raindrop: ooh good question! I temped for two days, and then forgot and got up to go to the bathroom without temping. That was the extent of my temping

@dc yoga bee: I didn't temp on Sat... sleeping in... and I didn't temp this morning because LO was sleeping with us (this happens 1-2 times a week because we are bad at getting him to sleep sometimes) and I didn't want to wake him with the beeping noise! I'm no where near Oing so I thought I should ask so I can get on the ball before my O.

@Raindrop: I was just about to reply to your Question when I saw 2nd post- was gonna say temp most important around O so u can see the jump.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: you always have me on pins and needles!!
@Crystal: I'm hoping you confirm things quick! I need to keep you as my cycle twin!
@Raindrop: I'd only think that temping around O would be most important. Also around IB dip time.

BFN. I am stopping the progesterone. There goes cycle 13. I feel like this is never going to happen.

@mrs. tictactoe: I must have been typing too fast - 5/13 will theoretically be my ovulation date, not my POAS date. My POAS date would be around 5/25.

@Raindrop: I love when there are late POASers. It saddens me for various reasons when a certain month's POAS thread is closed up too quickly.

Well, a friend just announced yesterday that she's pregnant and due the week of Thanksgiving. It's really hard not to be able to say that our due date is (was) a month later, the week of Christmas. I find myself wanting to tell people, though I don't think it would do any good if I did.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@doxielove: We are almost cycle twins! I'm 6 dpo and just feeling "meh." My DH goes for a SA tomorrow morning. Is there any particular reason you don't feel hopeful about this cycle? And the HSG should be great! I love tests that can help me figure out whats going on.
@eabae: So you are at the start of a new fresh chance! Rest up and gear up for a BDing storm!!
@PawPrints: I'm so sorry you are in this situation. That's so tough and I don't have any advice on how to handle it. But I'm keeping you in my thoughts!
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@PawPrints: That's a bummer! One of my friends is due next month and if we got conceived when we wanted to we would be due also about this time. I remember wanting to tell her oh we could have kids close together but that would have been weird so I never did. Haha.
I'm feeling really good about this month... not sure how to explain this... but the last 9 cycles I was kind of worried about LO and how he will do with another kid but this last month with Easter he was exposed to a lot of younger kids and seemed pretty happy playing with them. I have been ready for another kid but now I feel super ready for one.

AFM: I went in today for my CD21 blood work for this first Clomid cycle. I should hear back tomorrow on my progesterone level and whether or not it indicates that I ovulated. The blood work will determine what we do after this cycle, if it doesn't end in a
FF gave me dotted crosshairs for CD14. I don't think I believe it, though, because my + OPK was that afternoon. This is my first month temping, and I've been really terrible about doing it at the same time each morning. But, theoretically I'm 7 DPO. I guess we'll see what happens on Sunday!

I'm so anxious for May to start! We've got so many testers the first 2 weeks!
I finally got prescribed Clomid for our upcoming iui's! I'm feeling really good about moving forward.
Hope everyone is having a good week so far; @AmeliaBedilia: how are you doing?
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Raindrop: I had them, but now they are completely blank. Boo.
I think if you temp for about six-ish days before you o through confirmed o, you are good. @Mary was telling me today that ff confirms your O date based off your previous six temps, then three days of higher temps.
@MrsMcD: hi, cycle twin! I'm not feeling great about my chances this month. It'd take a miracle. I'm supposedly 5DPO
@PawPrints: I know that feeling. I'm so sorry, friend.
@AmeliaBedilia: I'm so sorry, friend. Be kind to yourself over the next few days, and have a big glass of wine.
@HeartAbandoned: good luck! Mine gave me a positive the day I Od too, which just seems strange.
@Kelli_Deluxe: good luck!
nectarine / 2192 posts
@PawPrints: big hugs!
My temp is a little down this morning, though if got up 45 minutes earlier than normal, but still well above the cover line. I haven't used progesterone the last two nights. I have heard that it can take 2-3 days for temp to come down and AF to start. Just waiting for AF to start with a very tiny bit of hope.

Ready to see just how crazy I am?
Today is CD 8 and we are planning to BD tonight, the first time this cycle, so all this crap that is going on in my head is purely my brand of crazy.
If we conceived this cycle, my due date would be around January 28th. Since I'm a teacher, and second semester starts January 12th, I probably just wouldn't come back after winter break to make things easy for whoever takes over my classes. I am allowed to take 12 weeks off at half pay, but I can take a whole semester off (12 weeks half pay, the rest no pay) and still keep my position, so if we can somehow swing it financially, I'd love to do that and I'd end up being off from late December to early August. 8 months off would be AWESOME. None of our family members have birthdays in January, so it wouldn't be overwhelming and the weather is usually really nice here in January, so parties would be fun. Liam's birthday is March 30th, so they would be a little under 3 years apart, which is good.
Ok, your turn. Show me your crazy.

@PawPrints: It's such a sucky position. I'm so sorry.
@Raindrop: yay!
@HeartAbandoned: I hope your levels look good!
@Kelli_Deluxe: awesome!

@mrs. tictactoe: Looks like a perfect time to have a baby! You reasoning is super sound to me.
@AmeliaBedilia: *hugs* Hope is good! Again you are not out till you are out.
@Kelli_Deluxe: Good luck with Clomid!
Anyone have any updates!?
bananas / 9229 posts
@Raindrop: Not a substantive update but I have another ultrasound tomorrow (CD11) to see how I responded to first round of Clomid and maybe see when we'll be proceeding with IUI!

@Raindrop: Thanks!! So far Clomid has been fine - I haven't noticed a thing. I don't know if after effects will come or what. I guess I'll find out soon enough?!

@LindsayInNY: I know I might have said this last month but I have really good extra good feelings this month for everyone. FX! I really hope it's your month! And everyone else too of course.

@LindsayInNY: sending big ovulation vibes your way! (Such a weird thing to say.)
Still no AF. 15DPO. The progesterone really messes with your mind. BFN on CD12 and 13. I last took progesterone at bedtime on CD12. This is so frustrating. If I'm not pregnant, at least let me get this show on the road!
This is cycle #13. No risk factors for IF. I am 34. Charts look great. Bloodwork looks great. Several months ago, DH's sperm count was fine (they didn't do morphology, long story). DH thinks this is all stress on both our parts (with a little bit of bad timing some cycles). We have both had a TON of stress (DH moving back home, opening a business, major work stress for me, TTC stress), but I don't know how much weight to give it. I really don't want to do IUI or IVF (no judgment to those who do, just doesn't feel right to me), so I don't think RE is going to offer much. I am leaving my extremely stressful job soon, and DH is insistent I take off 1-2 months to get my stress under control. I will then be starting a job with a far more pleasant work environment and less stress. DH thinks if we don't get a BFP after few months of that, then we go digging. Anyone have any insights?
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: Thanks for the good update.
I think stress plays a big role in this. When I was KU last time... I just finished my master's program (part time while working... never do this anyone)... got married a few months back... just went on our honeymoon (waited till after my last finals) and DH was just an employee back then.
Now my job environment has changed for the worst... DH is now a lead with lots of responsibilities that he has been trying to deal with and we want to move to a bigger house but housing prices are through the roof in our area (bay area, ca).
I have been trying to relax but it's hard! Also I have gained like 20lbs while TTCing. I really need to eat better. I think for me that is also causing some issues with us.
Hopefully you and your DH can relax. We should start a relax group or something. Haha.
bananas / 9229 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: I'm with you on a lot of that... DH and I have no IF factors whatsoever. Timing has been as spot on as you can really get most months (like 3-4 out of 5 peak days if using O-3 to O+1). DH really thinks a lot of our issues are stress related and that I'm not creating a good environment for a LO to grow. I've had two separate doctors comment on my stress levels too (my ob/gyn and my PCP). I'm trying to be mindful of my stress levels since a career/job change isn't really an option right now... It's tough. I'm hoping IUI works for us but I'm also kinda (I don't know the word - meh maybe?) about it. I didn't want it to come to this (although, really, who does). And progesterone really is a complete mind F...
