At what age did your babe show interest in Melissa and Doug wooden peg puzzles? There are some in the nursery at church, but I'm not sure how much they get used by the little ones since I'm obviously not in there during the service. I remember loving them when I was little.
I thought about getting a few of the bigger puzzles for Sadie for Christmas, but the packaging says "3+." I feel like she could enjoy them way before she's 3, but maybe I'm wrong...?

My 13 month old loves playing with M+D puzzles! He doesn't get the puzzle aspect completely, but he'll place the correct pieces back on the board or stand the pieces up and play with them. He has the chunky puzzles which are 2+ (the pieces stand up) and the jumbo knob puzzles which are 1+.

i think it's 3+ because those have small parts. we got the chunky puzzles that are 1+

C has some. They're the ones that say the shape name or the animal sound when you put the correct piece in its spot. I'm not sure what age they are but she's had them for awhile & does it correctly!

She was really into them at 1 1/2 years old and could match the letters to the empty spots. I say get them well before 3!

They're pretty easy for babies to grab beginning well before age 1 but you kind of have to watch out they don't clonk themselves on their heads!

My 17 month old has been loving them for a few months now. We don't have the chunky ones, just the normal pegs.

We have one chunky puzzle and the rest pegs. LO was interested in the puzzles around 18 months. At 2.5 years old he has moved past them and onto big 24 piece puzzles.
