Never met anyone online. I have made friends through other mutual friends on facebook,dont know if that counts.

@mrbee: i think I've been on my best behavior here! I like this site too much and there isn't anything else like it. And I don't tell my trolls anything lol. I don't need anymore stalkers, especially ones finding out I'm TTCing.

I've never met anyone in person that I've met online - that I can remember? But if there's a Boston/RI bee meet up this fall I will be able to say I have!

Good ole myspace... DH added me as a friend cause he thought I was cute. We started talking and we will be celebrating 7 years (3 of them married) together at the end of this month!

@anonysquire: Thanks! I remember when we first started dating we would tell people we met at Starbucks because they didn't understand/or were weirded out by the fact that we met online. Now so many people meet their SO's online it isn't such a foreign concept.

I met my husband on yahoo, and I dated/lived with a guy for a couple of years that I had met on Sparkmatch(precursor to Okcupid.com). I've also met friends from chat rooms and various forums over the years.
I still use the Internet a lot to meet new people. I once hosted a hula hoop get together for six ladies that answered a craigslist ad about hula hooping and I've also used Craigslist to meet friends to just hang out with.
Ive met maybe 15 people or so off the internet and I haven't had a bad experience yet!
