Does anyone have the Melissa and Doug play kitchen? Do you like it? We want to get LO a kitchen for his 2nd birthday, but the Kidkraft ones look so big! I would kinda like something smaller and more simple.
Any other smaller kitchen recommendations?

Check out elves and angels. Expensive, but some of their smaller kitchens are reasonable considering the toy will last for generations.
We are splitting the cost of one of them for Christmas. I cannot wait!

@scg00387: not modern, but they did just introduce some less "fancy" ones. I'm not sure if they are on the website yet, but they announced it on their Facebook page.

We have a Hape toys play kitchen, really compact, neutral and well built.
