Has anyone used both? I was wondering if one works better than the other.
My LO hates her swaddle so I'm thinking I'll give the Merlin a try as soon as she's big enough for it. (She's six weeks now. I'm not sure how much she weighs; she was 9.5 lbs at her 4 week check.)

My baby wore the fleece starting around end of January and when she outgrew that one, we put her in the cotton version. They both seemed to work the same as she slept through the night in both. The only difference between the two is that the outer fabric is either cotton or fleece. I don't think the cotton one is that much cooler though so I'm not sure if I would use either of them during the summer time.

Cotton! It's plenty warm, I don't know why you'd need the extra warmth of fleece.

I got the cotton one. Though LO didn't use it long, I also thought the cotton was plenty bulky & warm.

Cotton is all we have used and it is already hot here (almost 90 today!) but he does ok in it with AC and a fan on.

I used cotton too; along with PJs I thought it was plenty warm and felt like fleece might have overdone it.
