Hi girls,
I am sorry about the news I'm about to give:( really I am.
I can't come this weekend. LO is teething and not sleeping; I've been dropping him off at my Mom's everyday for an hour or 2 just to cook/clean.
So, this weekend, instea of staying home alone with him, in going with my husband to Chicago, where he has a work conference. I just can't handle 4 days alone with LO in this mood! So, we leave Friday morning...
I am thinking, maybe we reschedule this? Because Sammy and I were coming together, and so now she obviously isn't coming either.
Again- I am just so sorry:( I do want to try this meet up again though. Maybe mrs. Polish can join us if we postponed?Please,please let us reschedule! I was really excited to finally do this!

Unfortunately I kind of agree that two meet ups might be necessary - it seems lansing just became a little too far for Bee's in each direction. May be better to have two smaller meet ups than miss out on making a bigger meet up happen...
I think the metro Detroit Bee's should re-visit an Ikea or Somerset meetup (since many girls seemed interested in that).
Maybe the western Michigan bee's want to pick somewhere more convenient for them!

@Mrs D: I think there's only two of us W MI bees and we live less than 10 minutes from each other. Hopefully her and I could hang out some day, but I don't think it would be an actual bee meet up since its just the two of us.

I just went to Ikea this last weekend and it was a little overwhelming.. Just an FYI. The place was PACKED. Neat store though.

I'm due Aug 28...but I am super close to both somerset and IKEA so as long as Baby Kate has not made her arrival I'm in!
@smocks: I agree...its totally overwhelming but when I have gone with a specific purpose it has been great. The two times I went to just "wander" and "look" I ended up scared, lost and confused...and I spent way more than I should have!

@wonderstruck: I would love to do this sometime as long as DH would be able to ride with me and the girls that far (he could entertain himself elsewhere), it's just a long trip alone and he wouldn't go for that. It would have to be after I give birth too
