We are team green with baby #3 but have almost surely decided on Lucy for a girl and Will for a boy. Just Will - not William. I'm having trouble coming up with middle names, we've used up the meaningful / not weird family names with our first two kids!

Full disclosure, absolutely EVERYONE calls her Lucy Lou (seriously...coworkers, family, acquaintances, everyone). I LOVE it personally, but not sure that everyone would dig it. Lou is actually my mom's given middle name, so we call everyone in the family by [First Name} Lou anyway

@rattles: Not trying to thread-jack, but is Lucy a popular name where you are? I don't know ANY little girls named Lucy where I am, but I've been seeing some things online that make me think we may have accidentally picked a top 10 name.
Not sure it would have stopped me anyway; Lucy is pretty much the perfect name for my DD

@nutmeg36: I don’t think it’s super popular. My Lucy is 5 years old now, and we’ve only known two others in those five years (one in Chicago and one in Texas). It might be slightly more popular in our circle since were Catholic and it’s a saint with a name that’s also on trend. It’s probably also like when you get a new car and suddenly feel like you see it everywhere.
