I'm planning for a homebirth and wanted to get a gift for my midwife (and her 2 assistants). Does anyone have any idea what an appropriate gift would be?? When would you give the gift?

I gave her the gift during my at my 6-week follow-up appt. I made a bunch of healthy baked goods and the recipes all neatly wrapped. They loved them!

I would give it to them after the birth at the postpartum visit, with a card. I love sentimental gifts like these jewelry pieces - perfect for a midwife or doula!
As I doula, I would SO love to get the first one as a gift.

@Arden: I was planning on getting the 1st item that you listed for my doula, but I shouldn't have waited because now they are closed for a bit. Maybe I can wait for them to reopen ... but I am wondering if you've seen any other pieces that you've liked since making this rec?
