I can empathize with wanting to rebrand yourself as a "not-Disney" star, but I feel like this was just trying WAY to hard to just be shocking...wanting to step out from behind her father and Disney, but taking it to an unnecessary extreme.
Semi-related, have you read Mara Wilson's Cracked piece about child actors? I thought it was a very interesting insider perspective (and also I want to be friends with Mara Wilson).

Did anyone notice that it looks like she is still wearing her engagement ring in the video? Or was this video made before they broke off the engagement.
Liam Hemsworth is hot, though. Can't wait for the next Hunger Games movie to come out. Sad their engagement ended.

I do feel a little bad for Amanda. I liked her in 'She's the man.' I just really hope she gets the help she needs because she's clearly calling out for help. I know she doesn't see it, though.

I have always tried so hard to like her... I've always wanted to. But she is makes it so hard! I will always love her song When I Look At You.
It's really a shame the kind of life she's choosing to love. I feel badly for her dad. Also that video is ten levels of creepy.

Nice song. I would like the lipstick shaped like a ball. Pretty cool.
The video has some creepy moments- french fry head, but overall is a bunch of consenting adults having fun. If the audience was other adults I would like it, but let's be honest girls and tweens are watching this. Kids are exposed to so much.
