I am so sorry to even be asking this question. If you have gone through this I am really sorry you have lost a child.

I think it is a hard thread but could be really helpful for anyone going through this to find others on the boards that went through the same thing.

my first miscarriage, i saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks and when i went in for another ultrasound at 7 weeks it was measuring 6 weeks and there was no heartbeat.
my second miscarriage i saw the heartbeat multiple times because i got pregnant via clomid + iui. i was released to my ob and at my 9 week ultrasound, there was no heartbeat and it was measuring 8 weeks, 2 days. we had an autopsy done and it was caused by a chromosomal abnormality, so there was nothing we could have done.

With my miscarriage I saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks. I had gone in because of some spotting (I had abruption of the placenta with my first, and a subchorionic hemmorhage with my second) so I just figured it was something along those lines, but my betas were a little wonky. Went back at 7 weeks and was the sac was completely seperated and I was just waiting to pass it.
@Mrs. Bee: To this day I wish that I would have done the testing to find the cause. At the time I didn't think it would matter, but I wish I knew why.

Happened to me at 12 weeks after a heartbeat at 6 weeks. I have a genetic mutation that causes blood clots during pregnancy.
We wanted to do testing, but the doctor couldn't find the fetus. They found the sac...i guess there are circumstances where it reabsorbs into your body. It was very strange.

This thread is breaking my heart. Hugs and kisses out to everyone who has lost a baby. Or babies.

We saw a sac at 5 weeks, heartbeat at 7,12, and 16 weeks. Baby was jumping and moving around at all those appointments. Went in for our 20 week appointment, alone, and there was no heartbeat. Now, I honestly was feeling really weird the week or two before we went in. I would drink 4-5 glasses of water at night and I just had the worried feeling that something would be amiss. I even watched the episode of 18 kids and counting where they go in at 20 weeks and there is no heartbeat the night before our appointment. I prayed that that wouldn't happen to us. I think something in my body knew that something was wrong. I do remember after I delivered, I had to go to the bathroom and I cried because I felt 'normal'-like myself again.
Now we are currently pregnant again and I'm trying not to freak out as our Monday appointment comes closer.

We saw a flicker of a heartbeat in one of our babies a couple of times (I got pregnant via IVF with twins). But the baby wasn't progressing like our other LO and by my 9 week appointment had vanished. The sac is still visible at times and I'm almost 26 weeks pregnant now with a (now) singleton.

We lost our last pregnancy before we ever saw a HB. Baby stopped growing at 5w4d. This thread terrifies me for this time around.

We never heard a heartbeat. My first ultrasound was at 8w6d and the baby measured exactly 9 weeks, but there was no heartbeat.
I'm currently 4 weeks and our first ultrasound is sooner this time (about 6.5 weeks) so I'm terrified of this happening.
